  • Thad literally survived having his bones broken by a serial killer, getting shot twice at the back and still wanted to testify and now has a family. the man was cut from different cloth
  • Holy fuck…kid survived that horrific torture and then two gun shots?? Incredible! Glad you’re still with us Thad!
  • This kid at 13 had more will to live and bravery that most people 3 or 4 times his age. I am in absolute awe of him.
  • @kjax0630
How isn't this a horror film? That was one badass kid. The potential that was stolen from him is crazy. The mental toughness he had as a kid is as good as any special forces men I've heard of.
  • @genetmom4794
Not only does he go through horrific torture but then he's later shot twice by the guy's friend. If this was a fiction story I would say it's too unbelievable
  • @Trogdor1365
Wait. After being tortured, the murderers friend shot him, too?! And he survived that and still testified for the first victim. This man is amazing.
  • @abbysworld05
It never fails to suprise me of how people can survive being tortured and still have the energy to escape, but many things are possible if your going to die if you don’t escape
  • His little whimpers…poor baby boy I can’t even begin to imagine the amount of pain he went through. This genuinely made me so mad, I hope that monster rots.
  • @BunnyQueen97
“I couldn’t tell you why.” Because you were a kid. That’s the only explanation necessary. A kid should never have to assume a psycho is about to torture them.
  • @Peetaspearl
The bone breaker. That word will forever haunt me, this is terrifying I have to idea how he got out of that situation I would never be able to do that he is a real fighter. A fighter that will never stop fighting
  • I have so much admiration for Thad, not only surviving the atrocities but also helping Chris's family too. What a strong young man.
  • @yugao3304
He was locked in a closet with broken legs and ankles with only few hours to live and still found the determination to fight to get out of an almost hopeless situation man that's incredible...
  • @furygeist
Thad is an absolute badass. He put evil away, he brought a family closure, he survived not once, but twice, and went on to live a good life.
  • how in the hell could he have twisted and broken his own bones?!? that’s just stupid! the outrageous lengths attorneys will go to try to help their clients is astounding.
  • @g1rl_veteran
This kid is freaking amazing!!! I watched this on tv years ago on forensic files I think. It was kind of centered around the first boy's death. Incredible dude!
  • @mcdonalds5972
Kid survived a weekend of bone-breaking torture, threw himself down the stairs twice, testified, got SHOT by a vengeful friend, and TESTIFIED AGAIN AFTER THAT. This is not Thad. This man is GIGATHAD.
  • @tat1790
What an incredible young man. What he endured was beyond horrific, I don’t know how he did it.
  • Thad Phillips saved the lives of at least 8 other boys, by surviving the torture of that maniac Joseph Clark. Thad is a hero! Thad, the limp you suffer with today because of your horrible ordeal, don't look upon it as a constant reminder of that nightmare, wear it proudly as your badge of courage! May Chris Steiner and the other two or more victims, rest in peace.
  • This guy went through hell, and he tells us what happened with amazing strength. This is one hell of a survivor! I'm so glad he got away. You're amazing. Most wouldn't survive this! Let alone be so determined to testify. I hope this scumbag rot until his last breath in prison! Him and his friend. Thad you're so strong and amazing, and I hope you know that.
