Very very unfortunate. The front 3 of Martial, Rashford and Greenwood were deadly. Off field events killed the trio and there goes Man Utd goals too.

During Louis Van Gaal’s charge, they bought Memphis Depay & Angel De Maria. Then they bought another one in Antony Martial, with Rashford coming from Academy. All playing from the left. Then they still have to get Alexis Sanchez. What a recruitment team United have.

Class video! What a player he was when he was fit. Thank you for everything, Tony ❤️

Jose Mourinho giving Alexis Sanchez his spot is where it went wrong

Very good video. Martial came as one of most highly rated youngsters in the world and became my favourite player shortly after his debut against Liverpool. He wasn’t being nurtured and protected as he should have in the early days. Man Utd has become a grave for budding young talents. Either you become wasted like Martial and Januzaj or you develop into a narcissistic players like Lingard, rashford or pogba who thinks too highly of themselves. Despite constantly getting abused by journalists for being “lazy” or disinterested, Martial never cry abuse or start giving different excuses for his performance. I really hope his injuries can get better and he can go on to have a good career at other club. Merci Tony.
  • I was so hurt how Mou treated Martial as he should have been in that world cup winning squad.. I'll miss him so much wearing the red shirt but he will always be one of my favorite players

He was my favorite player. Its sad to see how things went. It was super sad to see him go. Wishing him all the best in the future.

very fair assessment! totally agreed! Manchester United since Ferguson's retirement has been a graveyard for young talent & its unfortunate that we were unable to unearth Martial's talent & Balon D'or potential. that being said, Martial was also not blameless...i'd tend to think in some instances he could've done more
  • @nEo7ization
I can only imagine what him and rashford could have become had they gotten proper coaching

Good luck bro, my favourite player. I will always be with you and support you wherever you are.

I always signed him up without fail for Man Utd when playing FM back then and was so happy he came to Man Utd…
  • Jose killed this man, took his number and gave it to a player who we all knew wouldn’t last longer than martial at the club, then signs sanchez... well the rest is history
  • @nyeeezy
IM GLAD someone spoke about mourinho treatment and then brought up how ole gunnar played him trough injury and the left him for dead.. My advice to young players NEVER play trough an injury
  • Very unfortunate. Im an Arsenal fan and i like him. Thank u for the great video.

Also i find it funny how pogba is labeled lazy when mctominay is labeled hard working and passionate. Meanwhile mctominay just watch players run past him and jog around for 90 minutes. Only runs fullspeed when he see a opportunity to join the attaci

It's very easy for us to label and criticise players without asking ourselves what could be the problem, coz to be honest a player can't excel the previous season or previous half of the season and play poorly the next if there's nothing wrong with him, whether it's physically or phycological, there's always something wrong but we never care about asking ourselves

In the end, he was very talented youngster we brought in but never truly developed, fault lies with the team, but ultimately the player has to take responsibility for his development. No one’s happy with what has happened to this once talented player, but in sports as in life you are the one makes or break your career. Thanks for all the wonderful memories, and best of luck in the future, Anthony Martial! You will always be a Red!
