Long-haul flights are always exciting. Well, you know. The ultimate insider's tour of life in the skies. • I have flown on the A380, and i can say this plane is an absolute MAMMOTH! You can hardly feel any turbelence. When you watch it take off, your kind of baffled because it doesn't look like its going that fast on thr runway , but if you focus on the wheels... It makes you realsie , its absolutely shifting!

I have done this flight several times plus an extra 3 hours added to the Canary Islands. I'm from Tenerife but migrated to Australia at age 2 in 1973, my first long haul flight from Tenerife to London to Sydney. Again in 1982, then in 1988, 1989, 1990 finally twice in 1994. After getting experience with this journey I would always choose an overnight stop over in Asia to rest. In the early days it was a 36 hour flight. In 1994 it dropped to 30 hours. It was always with two stops (not counting the London to Tenerife leg) first in Kuala Lumpur then in Dubai. I can see time has been shaved off since 1994 down to one stop only in Dubai and only 24 hours!!! Amazing!!. I haven't been on the double-decker planes yet but I will be very soon.

I never knew that so much work and effort went into a long haul flight. Now I know why the cost is involved and it appears now to be very affordable. Thank you to everyone in the industry who makes it possible for everyday people to see the world.

I it amazing how something so huge could possibly get off the ground.
  • I have done this flight Boston to Sidney. Was comfortable, we were well fed so nothing negative. Took almost a week to recover with adjusting to so many things. Certainly will do it again. Love Australian friends and the country.
  • Can't wait for my long haul flight from Heathrow in a few weeks, I'm exited like a child and already packing 😂😂😂😂 🛫

  • This is undeniably one of the most interesting and eye-opening documentaries that I’ve seen and what incredible stories! Perfectly produced so applause to the person who did. It was actually breathtaking just anticipating to see what’s next! What a HUGE airliner! Omg! I just can’t fathom how it holds in the sky much less get off the ground! I’ve been fascinated with airplanes ever since I was a kid and still am at 59 lol. From the cockpit views with extremely skilled pilots, the cabin crew, the interior and exterior of the plane, the pets, the story pieces, this makes for a Grammy! Now my curiosity is raised even more to make the A380 a MUST before the gracious Lord closes my eyes. Booking on it in the next year or two. I’d really love to know how everyone is doing especially the sweet little baby. The doggies are so adorable! Beautiful attendants! Very nice team, and those eggs🍳🥓🧇look delicious!
