Ever wonder how strong Deku would be without One for All? Well, by regular human standards, he's still a superhuman. Let's discuss why.

  • I can just imagine the other UA teachers being like “Wow Allmight you just got a kid with a strength quirk” “He’s not using his quirk” “He’s not WHAT?”
  • Normes: Deku could be a hero with his intelligence and suport gear Intellectuals: Deku could be a hero with his Gains
  • @SuperCyberEditz
Something else that you realise is that deku doesn't even unlock five percent until after the sports festival 💀

Since the beach was abandoned that means that nobody was packing it, and unpacked sand absolutely destroys your ankles when trying to walk through it.

This might be head fanon, but I think people in MHA have evolved to become stronger and more durable to compensate for Quirks. That's why Aizawa, Stain and many other characters with no enhancement type quirks can do many feats that can be described as borderline super human in our standards. But everyone is so strong that quirks are still the best asset when in a fight.

Not only is he carrying over 500 pounds, but he's carrying a human. Carrying a human is a lot harder than carrying a barbell

MHA is a setting where the "Charles Atlas Superpower" trope is absolutely real. We see various heroes and villains perform physical feats that have NOTHING to do with their quirks, that would still qualify as superhuman. Which means any quirkless person could also do them. Stain took an absolutely unholy amount of physical punishment before going down, Nighteye was strong enough to embed a man twice his size into a concrete wall by throwing a weighted stamp at him, and Lady Nagant's marksmanship had nothing to do with her quirk and was completely natural. All that in mind, we have to assume that any quirkless who trained hard enough could eventually match Nighteye's strength, Stain's toughness, and Nagant's skill. And having all of those things in one person would make them extraordinarily dangerous. Izuku being intelligent and capable of picking his opponents apart would just be icing on the cake at that point.

“My apologies midoriyah, I wasn’t familiar with your quirkless game”
  • @lostanimeworld11
Some villain: Haha! Your quirk has been sealed! What will you do now? Deku: punch Villain: OW! ARE HIS HANDS MADE OF BRICKS?!
  • @Roto3
Quirkless deku could be his own version of batman.

“One of the spices rolled under the fridge and he just…. picked it up”
  • @kestontaylor5130
I can imagine the students being like, "Wow. Deku's quirk is pretty strong" "He's not even using it" "what."
  • @DonniedrakoE
Deku’s endurance is also ridiculous as well. Man was fighting every villain he could find across Japan for a month while having zero sleep and multiple bullet wounds. Spoilers: the war arc is crazy too given he had to fly from an island to ua fight shiggy for hours on end while trying to deal with gearshift exhaustion and had his arms blown off and is still somehow conscious

No quirk in MHA = Heavenly restriction in JJK
  • @allforone2544
I feel like it's important to note that this is at the BEGINNING of the series because Deku has gone from barely using 5% to using nearly 50, that's like a 10x increase to basically everything, so yeah Quirkless Deku, even in season 6, is a monster.
  • @Ghostdog775
Anakin Skywalker: i hate sand Deku: i workout on sand for fun
  • Imagine your just having a morning stroll before looking out at the beach and seeing a 14 year old fucking pick up a small truck and throw it on a massive pile of trash, honestly i would just go home, accept that day was a loss and wait for tommorrow
  • @gigas115
This is something I noticed in the show already, since Endeavor- a character not known to have a strength quirk- is also shown to have stupid physical strength. Like, dude is mostly firepower, but he lifts, too, so he's that much stronger.
  • @SHOGUNTE
Well, Aizawa basically fights quirkless. His quirk does negate most quirks, which puts him on even standing most of the time, but it doesn't work on mutation quirks. He's still a pro regardless and during his career, how many mutation quirk bearers have likely been taken out? Really, Deku would just need Martial arts training to better utilize his physical strength. Not to mention the option of support tools. He's good to still be a quirkless hero.

"hey my truck just broke down could you help me out?" "oh neat a strength quirk" "..." "what do you MEAN youre quirkless you just LIFTED A TRUCK"
