Loved how Robin looked at Johnathan every time he cracked a joke to see his reaction. And Jonathan would give him the approving smile. A strong connection between those too.
-
Johnny Carson is and will always be the best late-night host ever
-
How graciously and effortlessly Johnny Carson makes all of his guests shine.
-
Jonathan was Robin's idol. They both loved each other as very good friends. It's a shame they are both gone. R.I.P.

I am 63 and this show was so great. I stayed up every night to watch.
-
Jonathan Winters was one of my favorite comedians as a young man. We were both a lot younger then. Rest in Peace, Robin and Jonathan.

Johnathan Winters was the only man who could cause Robin Williams to try to keep up. And he did but he had to work at it. Williams was usually the center of attraction everywhere he went except when Winters was around. Williams seemed to hang on his every word. Fun to watch.

This is damn good television. Thank God for reruns and collections. Nothing like Carson and his guests.
-
I hope Jonathan Winters and Robin Williams are in heaven this very moment and for all eternity sitting together and making each of the laugh. Those two were great men in life and in comedy. Rest in peace guys!

After watching this clip, I really appreciate Winters' patience in telling a story. He didn't rush or exaggerate it. He let the story do the telling. Excellent comedian! So sad he is gone.
-
This is the only time I ever saw Robin COMPLETLY sit back and let someone else take over. This is how you can tell he really, really, really looked up to him.
-
33 years later and this is STILL funny🤣🤣🤣🤣
-
What a joy. All three of them. Robin, we are missing you so. Three legends.
-
RIP JW, a Marine combat Vet and one of the funniest comedians ever.
-
Damn. That was priceless. The late and forever greats of Johnny Carson, Ed McMahon, Jonathan Winters and Robin Williams. I'd give anything to be able to turn on NBC M-F at 10:30 to see that again. That for me was always my favorite Tonight Show moments besides the monologue. At least there's YouTube to hold on to these treasures. May all four of those guys rest in peace. I miss you all.

Comedians usually get their laughs 4 ways, the actual jokes, the timing, the facial/body gestures and the delivery. Robin and Jonathon had all of these plus the ability to adlib and run with pretty much anything. Robin also had a 6th way which was unique to only a few of the greats and that the speed in which his mind worked leaving people in awe.

How on earth did they think this was going to go? Absolute maniacs a foot away from each other. Total gold. What a treat to see those two on stage, just playing.
-
Real Comic Genius at work, Robin and Jonathan were an absolute pleasure to watch.
-
I love this type of talk show. So much fun to watch.

Watching Jonathan Winters & Robin Williams, it s like watching a father and son comedy show
