Pokémon Crossovers We Don't Remember

Man I wish they still did adds like this bc these are comedy gold. Never thought I’d see Batman shoot a golbat or any of this.

The nostalgia, man. KidsWB! was my jam back in the day. Waking up at like 7-8am on Saturday morning to watch Pokémon, Yugioh, Jackie Chan Adventures, Megaman NT Warrior, Batman Beyond, MiB, X-men Evolution, and Cardcaptors, made Saturdays more special. And while we can stream anything and everything nowadays, it still feels like something special is missing. Also, that commercial with Pokémon vs Pinkie and the Brain was actually the first time I heard the Pokémon dub, and how I knew where to watch Pokémon at (on KidsWB!).

Team rocket trying to break into the batcave is something I didn't know I wanted until this moment.

I miss these crossover ads, they tend to be the closest we ever had to crossover episodes between all these shows and they’re now very rare or underwhelming.

Personally, I think these bumps of Pokemon interacting with other shows from Kids WB have got to be one of those exquisitely yet creative bumps that Kids WB did back when they were in their prime. It’s like before Cartoon Network (which, yes, they used to air Pokemon as well from the 2000s all the way to the mid-late 2010s), but seeing Batman hanging out with Pikachu or Agent J throwing Jigglypuff like a basketball will always never get old. ^^

Batman attacking the Golbat takes me back to TerminalMontage's Zubatman.

That Batman Jigglypuff song is an old memory I didn't know I needed. I remember chuckling at that when it was airing. The next best crossovers were on Cartoon Network with Cartoon Cartoon Fridays but they weren't as creative as kidsWB. They also weren't willing to use different voice actors so they were held back by that too.

I forgot how funny and entertaining these kids' wb commercials were.
