Dang, so this is happiness. A man with a pretty wife who appreciates that he pays all the bills and she takes care of him. Who knew!
  • @Truegrade
She’s so pretty, affectionate and gentle! What an upgrade from western women
  • @kartyae

As a Filipino, our monthly expenses averages between $550 to $650, but we are able to live comfortably. Our home is equipped with full air conditioning and we have access to fiber internet. Despite working from home, I am still able to provide support for my parents. The local wet and dry markets in my area offer affordable prices, allowing us to consume fish and meat on a daily basis. Although we don't dine out often, I believe that restaurants are often overrated as my mother's cooking is just as good, if not better, than some of the restaurants in Metro Manila.. hahaha

Really obvious you two made the right decision. Your living well, not struggling and your happy together. Nicely done!

I’m a Filipina was married to an American for 42 years, three kids all grown living abroad. My husband when he was alive and kids was still with us, living and school expenses about four to five thousand dollars. No mortgage, we have a beachfront property. Now a widow living alone with two helpers, costing me about $2,000 to $2,500, very comfortable life.

I’m surprised, the Philippines is more expensive than I expected. I spend about $2000 per month in Ecuador, but that’s supporting a family of 5 and school is by far our biggest expense. When I look at only my personal expenses it’s about $300 per month.

This is the REAL American Dream right here. Moving out of the U.S. to a country that actually has affordable housing even if it's a beach front property.

Raquel is obviously a firecracker and has enough personality for 3 people. Get her to talk more, she's a trip.

New subscriber here. It's so nice to see a couple living their life happily. Rachel take good care of your husband and give him the unwavering love of a PINAY 🥰
  • @tonymars1093
Great info Cory. Thank you! The information is great and from many sources. This is more like a study than an estimate. It is appreciated as I know that you put quite a bit of effort into it for our benefit. Rachel is beautiful and funny. It is great watching the two of you interact. You are both very luck. I just found your channel. I will be subscribing! Thanks again to both of you.

I really like that fact that while you are talking, she is rubbing your back. She is clearly affectionate and loves you. Finding that in the west, especially after a couple of years, is very hard to find. Congratulations to you both.
  • @HappyMan36

My Philippines Home was built & paid cash, Food-$400, $100 eat out, Electric $180 (air-con), Internet $40, water $10, Transportation $30 + misc $200 (medical & medicine for wife’s father) $200 additional misc. Our total $1110.00. However, with retirement, we save more than what we spend 💞 We are in Cavite. No debt. Nice Video. 💗
  • I appreciate your honesty. A lot of people will give foreigners the idea they can live comfortably on some ridiculously low amount. I lived in the Philippines for several years and you hit the nail on the head, it depends on your life style. Some people can live in a nipa hut and others in a high rise.

Raquel dealing with the gecko poop was hilarious! So glad you left it in. Quick note - CR = Comfort Room. Unless someone has lived in or visited the PI, they're probably not going to know what a CR is. Excellent video!
