Eckhart Tolle addresses the challenge of dealing with difficult emotions and pain body reactions when interacting with one's parents. He emphasizes the importance of accepting parents' limitations and understanding that their behavior stems from past conditioning beyond their control. Eckhart Tolle suggests that mental acceptance might not be complete and requires reinforcement through continuous practice. He advises recognizing that parents' actions are a manifestation of their conditioning, not their true essence, and encourages viewers to look for glimpses of their parents' true being during moments of clarity and connection.

YES, I feel sick around my parents but I am very polite to them. I need to watch this 100 times.

The majority are sleep walking all day, oblivious to their habitual words and actions, its funny to observe although sooo repetitive.

I'm currently on holiday with my mum and i feel like all the internal work I've been doing over the past couple of months is coming undone in only a couple of days with her. She is so domineering, stubborn and always thinks she's right. I'm trying to stay present but at times I feel an overwhelming sense of resentment and heaviness. There are moments where I notice this and re-centre myself but then she will do something to trigger me again. It's difficult because she is till my mum at the end of the day so I don't want to upset her but at the same time I need to look after my mental health.
  • We can choose our friends but we cannot choose our family and yet we are all better off becoming independent souls as soon as we're all old enough so we do not have to depend on or be stuck with toxic family members. Thank you so much Eckhart.🙏
  • It's been a lifetimes work and when you think you have found inner strength and peace they do something that takes you right back. Fortunately my practice means i can recover much more quickly. Thank you Eckhart.

You can feel when energy coming toward you is loving or not loving. Your body responds to it, your nervous system is very astute & recognizes danger.

Eckhart you have changed thousands’ lives and many more indirectly without meeting them. What a graceful serendipity to know your teachings and ultimately knowing the Light of the world. Thank you for showing us the way ❤

This hits me hard. I am "forced" to live with my mom for 6 months now. After hear your explanation, now I can laugh and say thankful for this condition. You are right, Sir, practice, practice and practice.
  • My mother now has severe Alzheimer's. When she speaks angrily, it brings me back to my childhood. It's really hard to deal with that. I feel like a child with her again.

Most of the people suffer just because they can't accept that they feel really bad for their parents. When I accepted and expressed these feelings to myself and to my therapist, my pain-body released it's emotional intensity. Since then I felt true love and empathy for them.
