I lost my father to heroine when I was 15. He beat my mother and constantly called me down. I hated him. I'm now 40 and miss him everyday. The lord showed me later that he had reasons for being the way he was just like anyone else including me.

Man! this hit hard....it's so true..this is very important. We should not judge someone by their outward behavior, but rather we must try to understand what they have gone through and what's in their mind, the reason why they act like that. When we understand each other, we start to work things out and progress...and that's how God dealt with us too.
