Big respect Nemo and Vishy. Taking the game very seriously. Vishy is clearly considering Nemo as a good player, which is of course the case.

Nemo trying to flag the lightning kid is a bold move.

The fact that Anand is in 11th place in the FIDE ranking in his 50s is really mind-blowing! The man is such an inspiration :)

Nemo : I try to flag people Vishy: haven't you seen my match against Hikaru?
  • "I'm hanging in there, but you're dangerous!" sure he's winning, but that's a hell of a compliment to get from a former world champ and chess legend.
  • Playing the LEGEND and one of the GOATs himself !!! He is a rare sociable gentleman in today's world !!!
  • He learned to play chess from his mother when he was six years old. By the time he was 14, he had won the Indian National Sub-Junior Championship with a perfect score of nine wins in nine games. He is an Indian chess grandmaster, a former five-time World Chess Champion and a record two-time Chess World Cup Champion. He became the first grandmaster from India in 1988, and he has the eighth-highest peak FIDE rating of all time.

Vishy is almost 55 years of age and has a classical rating of 2750+. Unimaginable in modern day chess !!!
  • it's the part where he is able to tell you how you could have beaten him, and you probably didn't see it.
  • 4:10 'Feeling is mutual which is usually why I try to do the mating'😂😂😂😂

That was an absolute pleasure to watch. Thanks for this gift. It was fun to see Vishy in action and you almost had him the 2nd game!
  • Vishy is absolutely one of my favorite chess personalities. Always a gentleman yet with fantastic tactical acumen.

Gentleman Vishwanath 💝 and BEAUTIFUL Nemo❤
  • if vishy has to think for more than 10 seconds, you have played great. well done nemo
  • Anand is an autodidact. For someone who grew up in a country that had no chess system or academy like the US and Russia in the 70s his story is truly remarkable. Today all chess playing country's have chess academy's including India so todays gen is very lucky. Anand learnt mainly from books as a youngster.

“Yes, I play casual blitz when I get together with old friends” - The guy is talking about LEVITOV CHESS WEEK!

Vishy is not only a GREAT champion, but also a wonderful, gentle person. AND Nemo held her ground. Well played!
