  • The blue cleric is Terry from Ep14 . The girl who dreamed tomorrow . The Diana mini looks more like a monk class who are acrobatic . Also the sculpt looks every similar to Ember the monk from 3rd Edition .
  • Someone elsewhere online theorized that the unnamed Cleric figure is actually based on Aleena Halaran, a character first detailed in the 1980s "Red Box" Basic D&D Boxed Set by Frank Mentzer. I've been trying to verify but so far haven't been able to. Frustrating that in the DOSI adventure itself and on the package of the figures there are no explanations or descriptions.

UPDATE: These are officially out now, I saw a set at my local game shop.
  • Thanks for the pleasant trip down memory lane. Watched this growing up along with Thundar the Barbarian and reruns of the old school Johnny Quest and Space Ghost and other action cartoons. I was an action oriented cartoon kid and didn't go much for the silly stuff like the smurfs and strawberry shortcake types. Well made video shame the algorithm didn't pick it up. Guess that will happen randomly when DnD trends again.

The acrobat (and cavalier?) was from the first Unearthed Arcana book by Gary Gygax. Oh, the days when there wasn't an overload of content! I have pre-ordered these minis but don't have any intention of buying the new Starter Set. I'd like a Bobby and Sheila mini.
  • Diana was the Acrobat, not a rogue, Hank was the Ranger not a fighter, there was no cleric in D&D Bobby the barbarian is no where to be seen in this set neither is Uni, and Sheila was the thief, which she is not in this set either. If I remember correctly it was Dungeon Master who brought them to his realm, to help him turn Venger away from being evil.

Whatever happened to that squirrel? Was it sick or just a very aggressive squirrel?
  • @toddstutzman7433
Dude why you have the comments turned off on the attack squirrel? Getting roasted are you? You should because it reeks of poop! You have in that little box and shrink wrapped. First off how did you get him in that little box? Second I'm assuming that box and shrink wrap were on the porch and easily accessible. Third the look in his eyes were that of fear. Throw him out a handful of unsalted nuts. Have to be unsalted. Salt is a death sentence because they can't process it. It's a squirrel bro! You obviously have time to run inside shut the door, grab your shrink wrap, find a box then trap him.
