What she forgot: How many people are actually in the market for Chanel bags vs the market size for gold.
  • People are so stupid. Just because the cost goes up down not mean what you bought 10 years ago its worth anything. No one is going to buy your used Chanel bag for anything with means its "worth" is actually ZERO

Its true chanel bags increase in price very rapidly, the question is whether anyone wants to buy a 14 year old bag from you at anywhere close to retail price. edit: consider me corrected. Some luxury bags

a scratch on that Chanel bag and the value drop by 5000% while a scratch on the gold does nothing to it.

Chicken nuggets... the gold standard we should all use 😂

Old luxury bags are going to be harder to sell because newer ones have authentication tags in them. Without them, people are just going to assume the bags are fakes. Luxury fake bags are so good that some are actually better quality than the real thing (or real luxury bags are poor quality)

I missed the bitcoin surge and now the chicken nugget surge. 🤦‍♂️

For the people that don't understand, the problem is that you are assuming the price of the chanel bag will keep doing that in the future....Gold has been doing it for thousands of years. No one can predict what is going to be valuable down the line in the fashion industry. Basically, 10 years from now Chanel bags have a higher chance of losing value than Gold...

Does she realizes gold can have different prices depending on the seller or size🤧
  • @MarkVirgulto
The best part is the nuggets will last longer than the gold or Chanel bags because nuggets don't depreciate
  • Its like collecting and selling stamps, vintage coins, vintage bikes, paintings, its a niche. Not part of the primary or secondary markets.

You can buy any gold and the value is going up. If you want to invest in Chanel bags, you better hope you picked the right one!

Gold will never lose it's value because of 'wear and tear' even if goes through many hands. A bag, any bag, will lose it's value when handled by many hands. I go for the gold.

bag will only increase in price that much if u keep it unused no body gonna be paying $10k for a used one
  • @user-nj5cl6xs4n
And when the dollar crashes your bag with be worth only its nutritional value and gold value will skyrocket.

Investments come in many forms. Gold, silver, land, luxury cars, businesses, Crypto, vinyl records, handbags, etc. are all valid forms of investments. The only difference is that some of them are more volatile or liquidable than others.
  • Wait about the Vietnamese nuggest! Having had both, I can confidently tell you that one Vietnamese chicken nuget is easily worth 100 American chicken nugents! First, its real chicken.

Gold cannot be mass manufactured. There is only so much that exists.
