I just got back from a month and a half long trip to Taiwan. I stayed mostly in Kaohsiung, so I really loved this video, and it brought back many memories. Taiwan’s public transportation system is unmatched! Can’t wait to see more of your Taiwan adventures!!

Couldn't help but feel impressed with the convenience & stress free way of travelling on the bullet train. Cities(stops) look ultra modern & clean. Hats of to Taiwan for maintaining a very high standard of living. Be safe & best wishes from Toronto, Canada

Welcome to Taiwan Shev & Dev , enjoy Taiwan’s beautiful scenery, delicious food and friendly Taiwanese people. wish you a happy trip😍
  • I didn't know Taiwan had a high-speed rail line down the western coast! I'd like to go to Chiayi but I thought it would be hard to get to from Taipei. My favorite thing you've shown us so far is the cheerful music the garbage trucks play! 🎵😁

I am Taiwanese. I have never noticed that "Kiss and Ride" in HSR station. It actually means "Pick-up Area".

    Love travelling to Taiwan 😎👍

What amazing landscape and view from the train!! We are based in Finland also doing video reportages of the normal life in here! 😍😍

I can’t help noticing you have not tried Taiwan railroad bentos. It is the most famous and delicious way to travel by railways in Taiwan.

Yes Gogoro is for electric scooters. Rather than waiting for your scooter to charge you can just go to a 7-11 (which I’m sure you’ve seen are ubiquitous) and swap out the battery. As for kiss & ride, glad you figured out what it was. It is probably more prevalent in the US, as a term for a drop off area. Hope you enjoyed Taiwan!

Me and friends left US and came living in Taiwan and loving it too!

I can’t wait to go back to Taiwan! I lived in Kaohsiung from 1969-1971. FINALLY going back! Your video was nicely done and helpful! I’m sure someone already mentioned but Kiss & Ride is a location for someone to drive up curbside and drop you off (or pick you up). At least that is how it is here in the DC area!

order a mi jiang (peanut/rice milk) hot at any breakfast if they have it... like drinking hot peanut butter ... so addictive.. better in the south than in the north.. we just returned and when we are there, we always have that.. and also cold dessert called Douhua ,, silken soft tofu, red beans, custard, brown sugar jelly, peanuts and whatever toppings you want... healthier than any western desserts
