Are you looking for a new trimmer and can't decide which one to get? Easy, If you have Dewalt tools, or you are looking to get into the Dewalt Flexvolt lineup, OR you're in the market for a new cordless trimmer; this is your trimmer! I was very impressed!

This isn't only a Trimmer, it's an electric multitool Power Head that can run just about any attachment your gas trimmer can as far as I could tell from my trial!

My only question to DeWalt is "Will you back the customers on this Awesome tool if they want to use it with other brand attachments?"

I haven't seen any other videos that explore all these interchangeable heads, so I pulled the trigger and bought a 60Volt Flexvolt Trimmer to test it out myself! Absolute Torque, great speeds, and no compromises on power!

It's better than your dad's old corded electric trimmer!

Where this tool does well is the torque on demand!

I shot this video all on one battery!

I'm impressed! Every bit as good as my other Flexvolt Tools thus Far!

Bottom Line: This is only my opinion! I love dewalt tools but, everything you see was purchased by me!

Thank you for the video, my husband and I enjoyed watching this together. You covered every detail nicely. I would have transplanted all those trees but when you used the tiller and revealed how hard the soil was impacted maybe not, LOL, great video and thanks again from both of us.

Thanks very much cuz you made this assembly so easy that I was able to assemble mine after 1 year of waiting to have it assemble for me. It was always an excuse after one and other, I just decided to go on YouTube and yours were the 2nd and it was the right one for me. I had did exactly what you did and everything went smooth and correct as you stated and assembled. Thanks again, you just don't know how frustrating it has been to wait for help and the worst part was, mine didn't come with any manual at all. I think your manual explanation was far greater and with smooth direction than the manufacturer manual.

Thanks, just came to figure out the little assembly that is required to get going (the insert inside the shaft of the tool). Turned out I bought the 20 V pole saw and hedge trimmer because of the better reach over the pole saw extension + hedge trimmer for the 60V model. So I have both of them, glad its using the same battery (purchased only the tools for the 20V lineup). Other comments pointed out that the 60V pole saw attachment is not as sturdy, more plastic and that the branch bar is not in metal compared to the 20V pole saw. For a small yard, not a problem, but my father plans to borrow the pole saw for his plantation and see how far we can go with them. Thanks for posting.

Great video! I wish he used the blower attachment as well but still much more informative than other videos. Lots of great examples of attachments. Very helpful!

This video is exactly what I was looking for to make my decision. I was hoping it would work with Ryobi attachments. Thank you very much!

Just got a 60V trimmer and the DeWalt hedge trimmer is back ordered till September (ordered both in March) I’ve been looking for information on other brand heads. This is the first and only place I’ve found to see if they work. Awesome job. Highly doubt you’ll get DeWalt to officially approve using other brands heads

finally 2nd video i see showing different attachment working on it. thank you, was on the fence between dewalt and makita (already have a couple drills) but seeing this the makita is just too expensive compared to this one (fully kitted i would have spare cash to buy more dewalt batteries, or simply but a kit with battery)

I bought mine earlier this year, after the 3rd use the lower bump head flew off and I lost the spring which puts tension on the lower part of the head stopping the string from flying out. Called customer support and they would not just send me a replacement spring! Recommend I bring it to a dewalt repair center... I literally only used it for a total of 2 hours, still had the string on it that came in the box. I ended up "acquiring" a replacement spring from a demo model at a local home depot lol Plus side is I already have every attachment available from my previous craftsman 4 cycle trimmer which was a far greater machine. Tree trimmer, tiller, hedge trimmer, edger and blower. I had been waiting for dewalt to make a attachment capable trimmer for a few years now and was stoked when I seen this in store! The battery was missing out of the box and home depot would only give me a partial refund taking the total to $100 and I bought a 6ah flexvolt battery with the remaining store credit. Overall a good trimmer

enjoyed your choice of music and volumn
  • If you have the pole saw attachment, the extension with it works perfectly to extend the trimmer to a length you don’t have to bend over as much.

Thank you for doing a review with all the attachments, I'm sold. I plan on ordering one of these today as my old Echo gas trimmer worked well for a few years but is now giving me nothing but headaches.
