7:30 earlier in that mission Del talks about this COG soldier turned actor who was suppose to be performing at that location before it was attacked, and his name was Jace Stratton. The same Jace from Gears 3. You see him take up arms as a teen with the gears and Michael Barrick during RAAM's shadow too, so i like to think that Berrick gave Jace his lighter sometime before he died and Jace has been using it as a good luck charm, and as a way to remember him ever since the Locust War.

If you's are curious how Dom's embry star got there, I'll give you all a theory. In the timeline during gears of war the book "The slab" tells us he sells his embry star to a collector in trade of food ration coupon books, since normal ephyran money is useless. He did that to try and get Marcus out of prison. How did it get in settlement 2. The asshole probably survived and then kept it as an heirloom.

When looking at the wall not only did I recognize some familiar names such as Anthony,Carlos, and even Gyules but I also recognized some others like Will Carmine(another dead Carmine to add to the book) and another named Richie Wallin. As you may know Wallin is Dizzy's last name. Im happy they added these small details.
