  • It's actually ulyana actually and I kinda like how they have a tribute to Carlos in the beginning we all miss him 😭❤️💔
  • I did feel like the film ended a bit too quickly and had a feeling there was something going off with Ella throughout
  • I’m still confused- none of it really made sense and the movie kinda felt like it was going pretty fast
  • While I do feel the ending was rushed, the songs kept me happy for the movie. Anyways when it finished, i realized a few points: 1) Red had the looking glass, aka Bridget "lost" the family heirloom 2) Ella may not have gone to Castecoming (or at least the first one) since she was grounded. Though she might have snuck out since her stepmother might've grounded her for something else in the original timeline 3) Time will probably will messed up due to inconsistencies: -the prank which was a life-changing moment for Bridget -Ella and Charming's first dance, and possibly entire love story -Merlin students could remember Red and Chloe -the rabbit hole would (?) not be sealed -the birth of Chloe and Red (more so Red, cuz Bridget, if "good", then could've married someone else) 4) While Red and Chloe speculated Uliana was behind the prank, it was never truly confirmed. On the basis that Uliana's plan was steal Merlin's book was the same in the original timeline, then her group would've been frozen since their hands are very likely not good. Not to mention Bridget (original mean version), didn't hate Villain's more than the Heroes. She mentioned the Villains went soft, but specifically called out the Heroes (in "Love Ain’t It") were "two faced". Also, Ella and Charming romanticize the same night Bridget hates. So its no wonder Ella wouldn't want her daughter to "dwell on the past" (which is also ironic since Chloe loves history) because something happened that night that definitely changed their friendship. So, a theory would be that Ella could've betrayed Bridget, maybe due to her (past) distaste of royals or that she wanted to be on the "royal" side. There is also the possibility that Ella snuck out, with Fairy Godmother's help, and since she was learning magic at the time could only make it last til 12, abandoned Bridget before the dance and stood on the side while everyone laughed at Bridget due to the prank. A Descendants 5 could be Red and Chloe going back in time again, and putting everything back as in the original timeline. Cuz lets be honest, most time travel movies require them to fix their own mistakes and do something in the present day.

Maybe Cinderella wasn't killed. Maybe she was locked up and tourchered while everyone believed she was dead so no rescue would come. Still dark either way.
  • Uliana, not Yuliana, Kylie Cantrall, not Cantrell, and Red took The Pocketwatch from Maddox's pocket while she was hugging him, he didn't give it to her
  • @val.tw2
I also wondered about the Vks being frozen in the original timeline, big plot hole in the movie, it doesn't make sense, and about the Bridget's dress I thought that maybe is because she grew up and maturate.

There’s seriously more to the story, cause I’m so curious why q of hearts hates Ella, was it uliana disguised as Ella?
  • My theory is that when Chloe broke the vase Ella's whole life changed and what I mean is in the original timeline, that vase never gets broken because no one comes to Ella's home but in this new timeline the vase get broken changing everything so maybe somewhere down the line in highschool Ella turns evil, and I don't know if it's just me but when red and Chloe came back and red went to Bridget why didn't Ella go see Chloe like she waited for Chloe to come to her and then she gives Chloe that creepy smile so yeah that's my theory
  • @signer25
Maybe balance was thrown out and someone else turned evil in new time line here are other possibilities 1) Or wicked witch and her kid appears. 2) Or maybe ella was tricked into betraying bridget. 3) Or maybe they didn't stay long enough so queen of hearts is still evil just smarter with a bigger plan in mind than simply taking over a school. 4) Or the queen of hearts has become like a doctor jekle mr hyde. 5) Maybe a spell was put on ella which changed how chloe was raised. But if time effected chloe then red would be effected and would no longer be a vk cause she would of been raised differently too. Not sure about this theory 6) maybe villains became good but the heroes became villains.

I’m annoyed that Ulyanna’s name isn’t Morgana bro that’s my only complaint.
  • I personally wanted the ending to be one of three ways: 1. Before they leave they decide they need to look into bridget's looking glass to see what the future is so they're sure that they fixed it. So they sneak into her room and look into the glass, and see that the future is the same. Then Chloe starts fading (bc if Cinderella is grounded she'll have never fell in love, so Chloe would have never been born). I'm not sure if such would happen to red based on the events but then Bridget wakes up, red looks at the camera, and Uma laughs and says, "Did you think that was the end?" Then that's were the movie ends 2. They decide to stay even though they're sure they fixed the future, just to see castlecoming. Then they go and see that someone else pulls a much worse prank...(I think Ella). The end! Then sinister laughs. There was some background knowledge with the necklace and the book I believe, and I there is a theory that Ella dressed up as uylana using the necklaces powers. 3. I'll come back and write this later!
  • I think this movie was a lot of fun to watch and it felt so good to jump back into the world of Descendants after so many years. Seeing China and Melly returning to their roles definitely brought back some of the magic we've been missing. I especially enjoyed the special tribute to Cameron Boyce/Carlos and it was the sweet moment we needed. Although, I personally don't believe that Disney would consider killing off his character since Cam is no longer with us. Apparently some of the fandom seems to be jumping to that conclusion so quickly and I find that completely ridiculous. Just because the actor passed away doesn't mean the same could be said for the character, so I believe that Carlos is being a Veterinarian like he said in D3 but he's doing that off screen. This would be a good way to keep his character alive in-universe while paying respect to Cam himself cause he cared about the franchise as much as we did. That's just my personal theory about the situation and I applaud Disney for at least working around it for the movie. I will say that the ending of the movie was very perplexing after my first viewing. It seemed very abrupt to some of us for sure, but after giving some thought I think they did it for a reason. Plus I do agree with your theory about Red and Chloe probably traveling back to the past again in the next movie and I also want build up on that. So now that Queen of Hearts is good this should be a happy ending, something does feel off about it. Of course, we didn't see Castlecoming or the prank pulled on Bridget and we should remember that Ella didn't go to the dance since she got grounded by Lady Tremaine. So I have a feeling that maybe they'll pull a switch on Cinderella and make her evil so that Red and Chloe need to go back fix the branch in the timeline. I swear this would be the craziest thing to happen if that's the case. So of course, this definitely left the door open for a D5 to happen and what a lot of fans don't know about is while the film airs on Aug. 9th for Disney Channel, that's the same day when the D23 Expo starts. So perhaps if the cast attends the event then maybe this will be a way to give the confirmation about a Descendants 5 and maybe a Descendants 6 if we're lucky. I'm definitely keeping my fingers crossed for that. Man just talking about this makes me want to breakdown the movie myself and I probably will if I find the time at some point.
  • This may sound weird but what if the queen of hearts had to be bad to protect wonderland from a dangerous threat. It was only because she had everyone fear her that kept the kingdom safe. And since she became nice, that threat will now make itself known. Anyway, that's just my thoughts
  • @JaySal101
when uma said its what carlos would have wanted it
  • It's a kid's movie- your thinking way too much into it. Yuli was humiliated instead of Bridget, after Red and Chloe messed with the past (Yuli had the flamingo incident with no revenge for it- therefore Bridget won). The past altered the future to where Umma made her way as Principal to avenge her auntie, which is altered reason as to why she invited Red and the Queen of Hearts to Auradon.
  • @mirror2760
I was wondering if Cinderella as grounded did she fall in love with Charming at the ball or nah. I imagine that maybe this is how Cinderella's tale begins with a young fairygodmother helping her. Which would be cool.
  • @SpiresBoy
My dumb ahh thinking this was the end of the story
  • @JombaJoo
I need uma and uliana to have a scene together🤭🤭
