Hes going to be horrified at the state of it all after a few weeks when everything becomes clear, probably start sacking people.

Agents of City players worriedly texting about Berrada leaving is the best detail from this, feels nice to have someone in charge that's respected again

Adam, Pol, I think you both need to get a DNA test.

ornstein, and the athletic generally always showing that the YT football analysis can be professional and well thought out. Keep it up folks
  • I think the club will go through a stage of identifying the problems, firing the people responsible for it, improve the problems slowly over time, making smarter younger transfers, and rely a lot more on the academy. I think he will even remove players who he thinks do not belong.

This is a big moment and we will need to come back to this 5 years down the line & 10 years down the line

Omar Was instrumental to Barca, done it at city… him at Man U will showcase how world class he is.

Thank you, that was a fascinating discussion. It looks like a good first appointment from Ineos and shows that they mean business. But the next appointments restructuring Player Recruitment are probably more important for United's re-build.

Those charges relate to 2012-2016? Those are very different times where he was much junior. Junior members who aren't executives with fiduciary responsibility aren't the ones they go after.

Its a good move. Once the structure is in place and relevant positions filled, I can be optimistic. As long as Murtough is not there and recruitment team overhauled, then I know real change has come. Then the issue of updating the squad and if the manager is suitable for the new vision can be addressed. Then we can say indeed Man Utd has entered the modern era. I really pray Glazers take a back seat and don't put a turd in the football punch bowl. They are toxic and negative influence on any progress.

I can't help but wonder if he's removing himself from the 115 charges against City while taking on a real challenging project.

Adam Crafton is so well spoken, very informative podcast 👏🏾

How can any expect united to perform on the pitch when ten hag is stretched doing a million roles and our ceo not being involved in football with no recruitment policy or wage caps. I hope ten hag is the man cause last year was some of the best football ive seen since fergie. If we get new head of recruitment a director of football and fitness coaches etc
  • @harukrentz435
Its a step up from his roles at barca and city so id rather give him time to implement his change than making premature judgement
  • @CharlesEros1
So.... He was at Barcelona and then Man City.... THE two biggest teams that have been caught out as cheaters in this generation. Good luck United

This is really insightful. Great content.
  • I love how Orstein flexes like a war correspondent. It's only a game, Dave!
  • @ssheldon1616
Adam, the mistakes and lack of effort is on the players and the players only. The only common denominator are the players. Not many of the managers got all of “their” signings, and if they did, United waited for the luxury of overpaying.
