Which game is your favourite? BotW or TotK?
  • @amphibian2982
Love totk, but the feeling of childlike wonder, amazement and exploration couldn’t be recreated in the same world. It can’t be beat
  • I cannot fathom saying this.......but damn I miss Guardians, and other Shieka tech in TOTK. That being said.....the amount of just absolute exploration of more, more, and did I say more.....! So there is a thing giving TOTK an edge. But they are two completely different games, that are both stellar.

botw main story was 100% better then totk tbh the only memorable part about the story was zelda turning into a dragon in botw the story is just so much better zeldas frustration becuase she cant activate her powers, the relationship between zelda and link, when zelda started crying in links arms and the final scene where link was about to collaspe and was willing to die for zelda and zelda finally activating her power becuase of her love for him totk story really dosent hold up to botw even the champions are much more intresting then the sages

Tears stands on the shoulders of Breath, but that lets it soar to the heights I always wanted Breath to reach. Sometimes in Breath it felt like I was just shrine hopping; in tears, shrines aren't so centralizing. There are so many good side quests, collectables, and just things to explore that aren't tied to Shrines at all. It's the most densely packed open world game I've ever plaued

I am absolutely falling in love with Tears Of The Kingdom. It’s slowly becoming one of my favorite games I’ve ever played

People will say that TOTK is better, cause of the hype, but generally BOTW is a lot better. The mechanics are more simple and used in a lot more meaningful ways, the exploration is better since everything is on just one map, so you always feel like you in the right place. TOTK feels complicated, the sages are jenky to use, they don't feel powerful, the building mechanics is fun, but also is very slow, always stoping you progress just so you buid something, mechanics like the recal ans ascent I was always forgetting I had, since the world just don't offer a lot of opportunities for you to used. The exploration is good, but not great, since everything you find is basically another version of Breath of the wild, in breath of the wild everything was new, in totk, not even half of he things are new, same enemies and even the new enemies gets old really fast. Anyway, Breath of the wild is almost a perfect game, every mechanic feels useful, the wold always feels new, you have more reasons to explore, it's just better.
  • In botw I was afraid of weapons breaking. In Totk I wanted weapons to break so I could get new cool abilities
  • @carlos412
The fuse ability is one of my favorite additions because just like you said, we now have a reason to kill enemies, in botw we could use the monster parts for elixirs... but I dont Think i ever made or needed to make an elixir in botw besides that elixir for the volcano that was part of the main quest. In TOTK we are compelled to kill enemies to get monster parts so we can make stronger weapons, I think that's so cool, and it gives the game an amazing aspect of creativity and strategy. For example, there is this tower that you can get to by simply flying to it and skipping the enemies, but still I decided to kill the enemies because I needed their parts. I'm so happy that I am no longer accumulating 400 keese eyeballs that do nothing in my inventory.

BOTW is better and it’s not even close. The impact it’s made on the gaming community, and open-world games more specifically is massive. TOTK refined some stuff, but honestly, the curiosity of “what’s that?” is completely gone. The story is probably the worst in the series, including BOTW, and the temples are just as bad as BOTWs. I have no motivation to upgrade, explore, or complete the story in any way. The Depths is all one big biome. The Sky has less in it than in Skyward Sword, and the overworld itself has already been a explored. The lack of explanation for the missing Sheikah tech is unforgivable imo, and no it’s not all in the towers. Hundreds of Guardians, Hundreds of Shrines, and 5 whole ass divine beasts just gone??? And the Mastersword is back to dogshit, again. When we had the opportunity to up the damage or increase the durability.
  • oh it’s not even close… botw was simply amazing … nothing will ever change that feeling of watching its trailer for the first time, waking up in the shrine of resurrection and walking out into this new world…. but totk blows breath out of the water… i don’t want to make this comment too long but … it was worth the delays… everything about this game is just mind blowing… i remember jumping into a chasm thinking it would be instant death and realized i was still falling so i pulled out my glider and realized there was an ENTIRE UNDERGROUND MAP AS BIG AS THE ONE ABOVE. let that sink in… we got a map almost identical to the one before but with changes that are worth exploring… then there’s just new map. it’s fucking insane . like how? how did they keep this so quiet? its crazy and then you take into account the zonai abilities fuse and ultrahand make for some insane original ideas … it just blows my mind that they did it . i didn’t expect not to love it…. but i also didn’t expect for me to really really love it… like it’s probably at my 3nd favorite … it’s so much better than breath … and breath is literally perfect… so take it as you will
  • @gribberoni
It doesn't matter, Uncle Ben. Link's Crossbow Training is better than both of them
  • @jaystapes3086
Tears is better. As someone whos first Zelda game was breath of the Wild, and after beating Tears, i have to give it to Tears. Even though Breath of the Wild will always have a special place in my heart.
  • Both are great for me but for me the new enemies on TotK it’s amazing I love how u can battle this big boss in the sky and I love the enemies as well
  • First time playing a Zelda title since Gameboy era? I pirated TOTK for PC to see if I would be interested. I spent about 5 hours playing it and went out the next day and bought an OLED switch with a copy of the game. TOTK is a game I keep coming back to compulsively. It can become exhausting with longer play sessions but it scratches this puzzle/exploration itch I didn't know I had before playing. I absolutely love it and the amount of play time it provides with such broad and unique content makes it one of my favorite games in recent memory.
  • @HeelPower200
Would you recommend a new player to jump straight TOTK? Especially when I have only enough time for one? Also wpuld you say buying the switch this late into its cycle worth it just for TOTK ?
  • @pedromgd
Amazing videos. It is incredible thank you 🎉
  • @franci2a777
TotK has kept me for now for 25 hours, and will continue to, and I haven’t progressed in the story (only one memory, no dungeon), and even after so much time it feels like I’ve experienced what, 1/50th or 1/100th of the game? Time truly does vanish
  • definitely liked BOTW more. TOTK only could be better if someone hadn’t played the first or if BOTW never existed
