Michael is perfect for his job. He has the right energy. The love for his job shows in his work.

We need more passionate people like Michael checking us into flights. Such a character but at least he loves his job
  • I flew Singapore Airlines in 1994. Regular seats were amazing. The crew dressed impeccably, choice of meals, food amazing, seats great, got a little travel kit, crew bent over backwards to make even the lowest class feel important. Got on Air Canada, cramped, no TVs, crew old and worn out. Got some pretzels.

Him showing the bed was hilarious

The aviation geek has more passion towards aviation than most people have ever in their life or career
  • What makes good passengers/clients is how respectful, polite and kind they are, not what class they fly. You can be a disgusting person and fly first class once, and you can also be the nicest person and fly economy class all your life. For those who can afford to sit in premium aircraft areas, well, good for them, but at least be respectful to those who serve you.

Iā€™ve never flown first class but Iā€™ve flown economy many times on Singapore airlines and Iā€™ve always had a really nice experience. I even enjoyed the food and Iā€™m a picky eater who doesnā€™t enjoy a lot so thatā€™s saying a lot for airline food. All the crew are really kind and always willing to help. Definitely the best airline Iā€™ve ever flown with. And Changi airport is great for a layover too, so much to do!

I flew Singapor Airlines in 1979 economy. I flew to Sydney from London. The cabin crew wore exactly the same beautiful dresses, the food was amazing, the kindness and gentleness of the cabin staff was outstanding. Really they need to know that nothing has changed, except the first class suites? Best airline I have ever flown on then and now. I salute that company.

Singapore Airlines has incredible service from beginning to end. We really love their wide seats, customer care, food, cleanliness, classiness and top notch safety measures. The Singaporeans are perfectionists. Love this airlines and will not travel on any other when traveling from the US to other cities.

I remember flying from London to Tokyo on Singapore Airlines. It was not first class, but it felt like it. It was the most pleasant flight and service ever. Human beings love being treated well by other humans. I think Singapore Airlines has taken this to an art form.

Michael Andreou is so charming! ā˜ŗ The 90-year old lady is perhaps just fastidious; I have watched several videos of seasoned first class travellers who flew Singapore Airlines' new cabin and they all loved it.

All the staff look like they work very hard and are very dedicated to their jobs. The flight attendants are definitely a unique part of the airline and makes it stand in the crowd. Their standards remind me of the way Pan Am used to be, which you don't see any more these days. Of course, you can't ever match the oil-rich Emirates airline, but kudos to Singapore for trying its best.

When Michael said that "everyone is a VIP with Singapore Airlines", you could see that he was about to laugh.

For people who work in the airline industry, I salute you. It's difficult to please passengers let alone an entitled first-class passenger. You've got to be a people pleaser to work in this job

watching this after the fenantyl documentary feels... surreal

My father was a pilot for SIA. Maybe I'm being bias, but I've flown with many airlines, but SIA are hands down the best airline in the world. Their level of service, including in economy class, outbeats every other airline IMHO.

If I was flying any airline, I would want a gentleman like Michael greeting me on board the flight āœˆļø
  • @alexandradaniele
I only got to be in first class on SIA after responding to a healthcare incident. The flight attendant thanked me and asked if I was traveling alone. I was and she put me in 1st class for the remainder of the trip! Sure was nice!! But I have no complaints flying economy with them and I always fly them to SEA.
