Pete Buttigieg on Kamala Harris’s Campaign, VP Vetting, & JD Vance | The Daily Show

I watched Pete on Fox News this Sunday, and he was outstanding. He masterfully controlled the narrative, consistently staying on topic and supporting his points with well-substantiated facts. Pete's eloquence as a speaker is impressive, and he adeptly maintained his composure under pressure. Despite the host's numerous interruptions, he navigated the conversation with ease. It was a remarkable and commendable display.

He struck out in the big leagues in 2020, and he's been sharpening his debate skills in the AAA league. A young bluechip prospect to fine tune. Like him or not, I bet my left nut he'll be president at some point in my lifetime.

He likely won’t be the VP but Pete needs to campaign hard for Kamala across the country. He’s the dems best current communicator.

This guy is the real deal. Smart, articulate, compassionate and not afraid to stand up and speak on what is right. If he's not Veep, he has to be integral to The President's Cabinet. Pete's the best I've seen so far.

As a straight white male, voting Kamala 2024, would love to see Pete as VP

As a Canadian, Pete is by far my favourite American politician. Has been since his campaign in 2020. Well spoken, speaks multiple languages, Harvard and Oxford educated, military experience, family man. Would love someone like him in Canada.

Pete is loved & respected by most Americans.❤ He is truly a treasure & will be POTUS someday.

I've been a liberal since the time I understood the differences but I have to say I've never been a huge Joe Biden fan. I was a big supporter of Bernie Sanders in the primary before Covid hit, and I felt rather disenfranchised when Joe Biden was declared the official nominee. What Mr. Buttigieg just said about the de-facto most powerful human on the planet voluntarily setting aside that power really struck me. Watching the live stream of President Biden speaking on supreme court reform, I noticed I liked him so much more and didn't know the reason. This interview made me realize why. It takes an incredible human to do what Biden did.

Kamala said, I will defend your most fundamental freedoms: 1. Freedom to be safe from gun violence.💙 2. Freedom to love who you love openly and with pride. 💙 3. Freedom of a woman to make decisions about her own body without the government telling her what to do. 💙

This man is intelligent, well spoken, and a true patriot. You may agree with him or not, but you can’t say he doesn’t love this country.

Pete will be secretary , then he will run after Kamala is done

John McCain used to always come on the Daily Show even though he was a Republican. He took Jon's hits and gave it back as well. Always admired him for that. RIP

I hope Pete becomes our Secretary of State ! With his intelligence and unflappable demeanor.. WOW. Can you imagine him speaking so eloquently on behalf of all us Americans on the world stage ? Trade negotiations, political situations requiring thoughtful careful tactful discussions... Pete would be incredible.
