Bride was NOT a plain Jane. She was beautiful and serene and sweet, unlike her entourage! She had a lovely persona and looked beautiful in her dress. Second bride looked gorgeous in her chosen dress, the consultant was fantastic . She reminded me of my mum and looked very French chic to me.

For someone to stand up on a pedestal and have others comment on how they look is a tender, vulnerable place to be. The sisters of the second bride thought nothing of this and just threw out teasing comments, seeming not to give a hoot about how they hurt the bride, their sister. So utterly thoughtless.

I miss this SYTTD showing everyday women finding their wedding dress, before the featured women all became Instagram models/influencers or heiresses. I wish the show producers would realize that, while unlimited budgets are fun some of the time, a lot of us enjoy seeing women shopping with lower or mid-range budgets!

Bringing siblings that you have rivalry with to shop for a wedding dress is the worst you can do. They will ruin the appointment.

I picked my dress by myself. Got my mom's financial approval. That was it. Priscilla's of Boston. 1994 Went into the store saw it in a picture and said that is pretty much as exactly what I was looking for. They tailored it to my wants. Done deal.
