This is my comparison of my two electric trucks. One is the Cybertruck dual motor and the other is the F150 Lightning extended range. Feel free to like and subscribe and comment. Thank you very much.

I love the Cybertruck; it may have a few flaws, but it's a real head-turner.

Lightning is my 7th F150 but first EV. Like you said the ride is amazing. Can't be beat. Since January 2023, I've put on 43,000+ miles (commute is ~204 miles round trip). Being able to close the sun screen in NC summers is a requirement

Don’t waste time explaining why its your POV.. great video

Lightning was on my list if the Cybertruck would have taken a lot longer. It does have some functional additions but it ain’t for me. Thanks for the video.

Great perspective. I’ve driven the Lightning at the ford dealership where I work. I loved it. Have no idea of how the Cybertruck compares from a driving perspective. But I’m more of a traditionalist. I like the fact that I can go from a regular F150 to the Lightning and feel right at home. What many Cybertruck fans see as negatives, I see as positives. But there is room for both trucks. Different strokes for different folks. As for the looks of the Cybertruck. I’ll pass. But it’s the drawing card for others. I hope both succeed.

Congrats on the Cybertruck! I'm waiting for my VIN for over a month already...can't wait! Thanks for the vid!

Congrats man. I am a GM guy and I saw the Silverado RST on YouTube...that joint impressed me. 440+ range (it made it to 460) miles in the YouTube that 2 guys drove from Vegas to Phoenix. RST is damn nice, but I think I am going to wait for the 2025 Sierra EV Elevation that is SUPPOSED to start in the $50's. (We'll see). The 2024 Denali EV version will be about $109. (DMV, here too).

Good review! I’m waiting to see the Cyber Truck after it’s wrapped!! LOL
  • LOVE the Perspective, LOVE the UP-FRONT explanation (Clear & Concise)! They don't mind us being "BLACK," just so long as we don't SAY that we are. :body-blue-raised-arms:

Ty nice video. I love my F150 lightning, lariat extended battery. I can't wait for my CT too, i am way behind though, but hopefully it will have the FSD by then. i am a big Tesla fan, and it is by far the easiest car to drive, IMHO. I love the ride of the lightning, but the lack of he FSD is making me think about trade it for the CT.

  • There is a paradigm shift one needs to wrap one's head around on this. You, CAN HAVE A GAS STATION IN YOUR BACKYARD! Six months after we got ours, we installed an offgrid 3.6kw solar array with 10kW of batteries, with a 48v 6kW hybrid inverter/charger, which we use to charge the Lightning through the Charge Station Pro. That, after rebates, will have cost around $4k. We also installed a 12k Btu Mini-split in the garage two weekends ago, that also runs off the 3.6kW of Solar. What we didn't expect was, when we run the mini-split, which is pretty much all the time, and open the door to the garage to the house, it cuts our House electric use by around 20kW per day in May so far...helping out the house AC. Long story short, I get 400 sq/ft of man cave that is cooled, AND, the mini-split is likely going to cut our electric bill by $500/yr. All told, this system will likely pay for itself in 3-4 years, and then we'll be getting essentially free fuel, and be paying $13 electric bills for the next 20 years, until the panels and batteries may be down to 80% efficiency. Obviously, you need the room in your backyard to install 10 x 360 watt panels, and the $5500 upfront cost on the solar array/batteries. Either one of these can benefit from something like this. Transitioning to renewables can pay off quicker than you think... The longer you wait, the longer it will be before you could potentially have free fuel.

Thank you for naming it what you did. Thats how this video found me! LOL...I used to stay in the DMV...had to go back to west. Otherwise I would definitely stop by to pay and ride. Btw...they have side steps for the CT already and available
