Sydney Kennett is one of the world's best indoor skydivers. The 14-year-old champion moves with the grace of a ballerina inside wind tunnels that propel air in excess of 100 miles per hour. Sydney holds numerous top prizes at competitions around the world, and she's even a Guinness World Record holder.

  • @boy638
She's going places, while not going anywhere.
  • Imagine wearing a VR headset at the same time and free form flying thru any number of surreal worlds.
  • What they didnt show here is just how insanely loud the tunnels are, especially when you’re inside them, it’s deafening!
  • @TheJttv
The problem with getting it in the olympics is the cost of entry and the fact it only exists in rich western countries at the moment.
  • @DROX101
It takes a lot to be an indoor skydiver, YEAH A LOT OF FK MONEY.
  • This would be a cool competitive sport, but those infrastructure costs......
  • I wonder how often people lose control and slam into the glass.
  • Wired : how this girl takes indoor skydiving to the next level Me: proceeds to walk to floor 2
  • I feel two ways about this. Way 1: Well your parents are super-rich. Way 2: I genuinely wish I was wealthy enough to afford things like this for my kids, so good for your parents.
  • Wired: "Shes one of the best indoor skydivers" All 5 other professional indoor skydivers: offended
  • Definitely could have a career in movie stunts since there are more science fiction / space movies coming out in the future. There will be a demand for stunt people who can perform in zero gravity situations.
  • I've done indoor skydiving and it is such a cool experience! Insanely expensive. But by far the most amazing thing I've ever done, highly addictive, and I can't wait to do it again!!!
  • That's hard. I'm still working on level 1 belly flying... Granted, I have a career and haven't lived near a tunnel until recently. The ~$20/min cost doesn't help either... I'm sure there are discounts for blocks of time and it's cheaper without a coach.
  • I wonder how expensive it’s to built this thing and use it.
  • I did this in my dreams once, but even in my dreams I pulled a couple muscles.
