Check out my Rocket League Course: www.gamersrdy.com/product/ultimate-guide-to-teamwo…

In this video, I explain a bunch of common strategies in rocket league that people often use on kickoffs and why they are good or bad. Keep in mind that kickoffs are not always entirely controllable so if you use this "perfect kickoff" is still may not always end in your favor especially if someone uses the same strategy. I hope you guys enjoy this one. I'd really appreciate a share! :)

Wayton: low rank players like diamond Me: cries in gold
  • Wayton: if you want to win - do flips often Driver in the car: bro, I don't feel so good...
  • Me: tries to flip diagonally Sideflips and misses the ball Me: never again
  • I tried this but the cops didn't like it and now I'm banned from driving for 5 years
  • "Low rank players like diamond" Me: Oh I see deletes rocket league
  • I am a diamond player and this actually helps so much, I didn't know what to do on the corner kicks and usually just boosted into them as it felt like a safe option. You did a great job breaking each method down!
  • 2:11 I like that you are showing us how to use our boost but use the most invisible boost in the game 😂
  • Wayton: I don’t recommend front flipping in the kick-off. Mertzy: I can't hear you.
  • Pilkin: not everyone has a strong kick off. Me: not every one has good internet
  • It can work against you if your opponent know how to make the perfect reflection, if your car is 10% faster to the ball it will reflect towards your field and that is good when you have a team. It’s all about strategy, how fast you get to the ball is not important. The controle of the car and reading the other players car are keys to reading the game.
  • 1:11 - slight diagonal 1:40 - how to flip and boost 3:20 - getting around the field/ flipping instantly 4:00 - boost management in ones 4:25 - back centre 5:45 - diagonal 6:51 - what Pilkin recommends 8:18 - outro Awesome vid btw!
  • " Recently been playing with low rank players like diamond " - I slowly cry inside because I finally reached diamond 😉.
  • I've found that the extra 12 boost that you have left after a good kickoff is really helpful for neutral kickoffs, because its easy to boost back in faster than your opponent, and then get it straight to the goal.
  • This was really helpful. I will be trying this when I’m home this evening and let you how I get on. Thank you 😊
  • "If you have room for a flip, you should always use it." I'll try to remember that tip during my road. Thank you.
