  • If Miyazaki and Kojima ever shook hands, I believe a wormhole would be created.

“He’s a little bit nervous about being treated like a superstar in the videogame industry” don’t let him browse r/eldenring or he’ll get a heart attack

Every game he touches turns to gold. He is a true modern genius I have no doubt.
  • All game developers are losing faith from their fans, no dark souls fans have given up on Miyazaki!
  • @Dee3Tears
Probably my favorite game director ever.
  • I wish.... I wish I could tell Miyazaki how much Bloodborne means to me how I view it as the greatest game of all time. I could go on forever about Bloodborne but I will just say that it definitely revitalized my love for video games. I guess I can just communicate with my wallet.
  • Aside from being an absolute genius, he's also incredibly humble, and doesn't self promote his own name. Take notes Hideo Kojima.
  • I love that man not even joking. Changed my gaming life forever!
  • He might not want it but he IS a superstar! Without him this industry would not be where it is today, he revolutionised gameplay and bought back the challenging difficulty of older generation titles. He is a genius, through and through.
  • "He doesn't spend that much time adjusting areas which is the best way to make a game better" I had to listen this sentence three times before realizing it was a compliment.
  • Miyazaki has slowly changed the entire gaming world with his approach to game design. The idea of having a game thats Hard but fair, was unheard of at one time. Now with the Souls series and Bloodborne you kinda feel a shift...gamers want a challenge not just another Call Of Duty paint by numbers game. And yes he is a Rock Star!
  • He's a true artist, but in game form. Simple as that, he forms a connection with his players through his games and that's enough for him, just like musicians, painters etc. Will always respect this man.

He didn't want to be a superstar in the video game industry but that is exactly what happened lmao. Everyone knows miyazaki for his masterpieces and it's deserved. love this guy
  • How to make a Miyazaki game: 1) Write a Story, fold the paper in 8 and take scissors to cut out 7 random holes in the paper and distribute the broken story amongsts random characters. 2) Spend 90% of the budget on world design and game mechanics and inventory. 3) Hire an orchestra with a choir to make the soundstrack! 4) 20 short 10sec videos and scatter them throughout your game. 5) Make sure the game starts after you die at the first boss. 6) Don't include a map, or any relevant information with a arrows where to go. Make sure the player is as confused as possible. 7)Make sure to find a keyword "blood" , "Soul" and add it to every single item, boss and areas of the game generating random names. 8) Use pieces of english words and randomly create non-existant words to name all the various locations of the game. Example: Lock heart Funeral gate Heartlock funeral gate
