So incase anyone is new or in beauty school. She was coming up at 45 deg angle. What she meant by pulling it straight out is now the middle back was turned into a 90deg angle. So make sure after the nape your position of the hair changes and be sure to take nice thin even partings.

Can you show us how to do Linda Ronstadt’s short hair from the eighties? If you google you’ll see There is a picture of her in black and white with short flippy hair. She’s standing next to an amplifier in the picture.
