In my speech class, my class was tasked on writing speeches on different topics. One person did a speech on the american flag, another brought engine parts and did a speech on that. I decided to do a speech on Homestuck, a watered down speech, but a speech nonetheless.

This speech was meant for education purposes and I don’t own most of the images used in the slideshow presentation (accept the stuff drawn in Ms paint)

I love how everyone in the comments (and the guy in the video) are being so positive about Homestuck and not giving into the self-hating cringe rhetoric that used to be (and still is) so prominent in the fandom. Please NEVER lose that unapologetic love for the comic. I let myself believe that Homestuck was simply my old guilty pleasure, but re-reading it after a few years reminded me that it's unironically so good and deserves love and praise. Young Homestuck fans, keep the community going, and never let yourself be convinced that it's cringe or lame. You guys all give me so much hope.
