Alien: Romulus I In Theaters August 16

The fact that the environment and creepy atmosphere in the trailer are very reminiscent of the first Alien film and Alien: Isolation makes me happy! They NAILED the aesthetic look of this film!👏👏👏

If the atmosphere is anything like 1979’s Alien and 2014’s Alien: Isolation, we’re on good terms.

"The whole idea behind this movie was to take it back to the basics and make a pure horror movie again." That's what I am talking about Fede! He gets it! Just look at the production design on this film!👏

so they didnt use greenscreens and went back to basics. I’m sold!

Practical effects alone will put me in a movie theater seat for this film. Kudos to FA for going old school and giving us a reason to fill seats again! I can’t wait to see this!!!

Obvious Alien 1979 vibes, but also Alien Isolation!!! Don't miss out if you haven't played it yet!

PLEASE be worthy of the Alien franchise! Prometheus and Covenant couldn't pull it off. They went another direction with the Engineers, fine, but they were very divisive films. I'm not sure how scary this will actually be as fear of the unknown is a strong fear, and we all know the xenomorph life cycle like the back of our hand now. I hope Fede can inject something wholly new. Like, a phase of xenomorph growth not seen. Aliens introduced the Queen and psychic communication with her spawn; Romulus needs something like that. Something new to expand on the lore.

This also actually takes place 5 years after Alien Isolation and is 37 years before Aliens.

Can you imagine the Atmos sound for this….!!!!!!!
