I've worked as a nanny for more than 15 years. IT's incredibly fucking weird for there to be 2 infants in the house and zero evidence of it. Even when it's before they're mobile in any way you'll still have random burp cloths, pacifiers, empty bottles or even a box or diapers or something to show there's kids there. Also kids absolutely need color for their development. It helps train their developing eyes to differentiate between objects, learn to focus their eyes and also help their brain development.

I think we should be grateful these two aren't raising their own kids

They watch some restaurant/theme park YT reactors that Shane is obsessed with so of course he tries to churn out that “brand” of content with his own twist “gas stations” - but the reason this DOESN’T WORK is because it’s not about plugging in a formula and throwing money at it but STARING YOU! It’s about having a likable personality people are drawn to that keeps them coming back. Shane just has the momentum and base built off his cringe / predator era and doesn’t know what to do with it. Nobody wants to hear how many stars you give a gas station hot dog because you are a gas station hot dog but in a Tesla truck.

it feels insane to be 'reviewing' a gas station in the middle of the day/week when you have twins under a year old. It's giving 'your unemployed friend on a tuesday' but like i think that joke hinges on the lack of responsibility. but they have TWO kids. What do you mean you are 'reviewing' a gas station and then going bowling???

I have always wondered how they have so much free time. If Shane is walking 40,000 steps a day does he even see his kids? What really annoys me is how Shane would not shut up for a year about how badly he wanted these kids and to be a dad and then the minute he gets them he never mentions them again, out of sight out of mind. I completely forgot he even had kids until LIzzie brought them up in the cybertruck video. Shane seems like the kind of person who wants something and the want is what he likes, because just like with the second house and the alphacas who he wouldn't shut up about either for a year, the minute he gets them its on to the new thing. Those poor alpacas are still in Colorado all alone even though Shane acted like it was a message from the universe that he get them.

I feel like Shane is one of those people that thinks picking up random hobbies that seem trendy or quirky is a substitute for having a real, likeable personality or developing a skill.
