i remember having a full catalog Zero G CD when i buy my first BOSS SP 202 sampler, it's crazy the amount of effort they do on there sound librarie. for sure it was widely use with Akai and E-MU sampler.

The specific sample name is "Baroque Cadence" and is in C Major. The sample at 7:15 comes from the same library, and is named "A Breath of Air". It's also inspired by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade

That's a good ear, thanks for the sources. Also I know 8:42 is also used in a Final Fantasy X-2 track, it sounds very familiar. Don't remember the name of the track though
