Producer - we are running out of space to store all the failed blades Writer - I know exactly what to do
-
Not gonna lie, I love to look of Bob's blade with the squirrel tail handle bent over itself.
-
"I want this blade to be SHARP" That same guy in the final round: Makes a weapon that will not keal.
-
Think I would have broken them to check grain structure and cut the best one up to put in a canister
-
This must be where the tradition of using failed blades came from.
-
Coolest episode I've seen yet
-
Wow, my hair still had color 😂
-
Smart move would have been to take one of the failed blades, chop it up, and put it in a canister to make a brand new solid billet. That way, you wouldn't have to deal with any of the existing flaws.
-
The simplest way to deal with this task is to weld a strip like the trigger guard of a pistol. Since the materials are failed blades, contestants should pay attention that those may have some cracks, but that can be repaired easily by welding.
-
My daily carry knives have a finger ring in the handle so seeing this on forged and fire makes me happy
-
This is a great idea
-
Did anybody say use ONE blade? Weld two together.
-
All the judges love a good finger ring. Its always best practice to start with a finger ring before you do anything else to reduce the stress. Without a good finger ring you may not be able to get the job done. If you cant get your finger ring technique down there are videos online. Im just disappointed theere wasnt a single joke about the smiths finger ring technique.
-
Were they forbidden from using Canister Damascus? To my limited knowledge, that would have seemed like the obvious option.
-
i see a third blade looks like arnon blade in s1-e4 and a bottom if i'm not wrong is james unfinished blade in s1-e3
-
I didn't love that challenge. Especially when he couldn't see the failure points. I think that challenge would have been better if it was a cosmetic challenge.
-
Cut em into small pièces, make billet and re design and reforge it...❤
-
finger rings are stupid
-
who really love this show❤❤
