can't believe your cat made an appearance for Suga's part 😭😆💜

I’m sorry you’re having trouble with things getting blocked. I’ve never heard of any reactions to Bangtantv content getting blocked. That’s frustrating. Thank you for not giving up.

I wouldn't say who is bigger than who, but clearly rapline is the foundation of BTS. A lot of their songs are hit thanks to them, including their in-house producers. They have the most produced songs among the members as well. All members of the rapline are full members of the Korea music copyright association while the vocal line members are associate members. If you see the tracklist for the new come back, even for just CD1, RM is credited 18/19 songs. Each member of the rapline has over 100+ songs credited to them(maybe and Suga have 200+ now). So yeah.

Thank you for the reaction! Something to clear up: Jhope and Jimin are the Main Dancers. Jungkook is lead dancer and V is part of the dance line.

To answer your question about the audition process, we don’t actually know many details. We know Bang Sihyuk (the CEO) found RM first and signed him on the spot, but then didn’t really know what to do with him. First he decided to make a rap group, but the other members quit. Then Suga and j-hope joined late 2010 along with 4 other people, who also eventually left (or stayed as in-house producers but not as members). In general, Big Hit was searching for appropriate members for BTS from 2010-2012, and there were many trainees during the time (around 9 or I believe up to 20 at some point?), coming and leaving as they decided to quit/were found to not be a good match. Jimin was the last member to join in 2012, and at the end of 2012, they all decided that the line-up was best (chemistry wise and talent/effort/personality wise) with the 7 members we have now. They released youtube vlogs and soundcloud songs to promote and to create an audience before officially debuting with their first album in 2013. This is all from my understanding though, there may be a couple of details I missed

RM is now the second most credited songwriter in South Korea.
  • @MarinaEariel
Most of their writing is for BTS. They have more than 250 songs, and that doesn't include remixes or alternative versions. And the band members took part on writing most of it, and of course their solo work Outside of it, the three rappers have some writing credits for their collabs with other artists, and RM acted as lyricist for other artists from their company. Suga is the one with more credits as composer and producer outside of BTS. He worked with big names of the South Korean industry

5:06 He didn’t change his name to Real Me. It is just RM. He was being pressured in an interview once for a meaning and he made an off the cuff comment that maybe it could be the real me, and some people have jumped on this and runaway with it. It is just RM.
  • @archive2500
The rappers / rap line (RM, Suga, and J-Hope) are predominantly the powerhouses at producing, composing, and writing most of the BTS's songs.

At 27:17 the song you asked about was winter bear by V. He wrote it for his beloved grandma who raised him, she passed away. I've listened to that song almost every night as I fall asleep since my husband died Jan 1st 2022. 🙁 Tae's voice is like a cup of hot cocoa, a cozy fire and a warm embrace. Very soothing & comforting. 🙂
  • @meCatH
You have to make sure to always include the Bighit Intro for BTS MV'S so they will never get blocked. At leasts that.
  • @meaowchan8663
Jungkook the main vocalist of bts by ida S (it shows why his contribution too the group) If u want to see more of his art u can check out jungkook artistic side by ida s V s solo is called winter bear

The rise of bangtan is by far the best docuseries about BTS. It gives you an insight on the k pop industries as well as South Korean culture and society and how BTS fits into that. It's in the style of Tupac: Resurrection where Aneesa takes clips from vlogs, interviews and their shows and weave them to tell a story. It is so well done. I highly recommend you watching that especially if your new to BTS.
  • @reemak541
Taehyung aka V is very talked about and known. But we tend to call him tae or taehyung and not his stage name much, so maybe that's why you felt he isn't talked about. He has several solo songs I'd like to recommend, sweet night, winter bear, scenery, Christmas tree as solos under his own name and singularity, stigma, and inner child which are solos under BTS's name 💜

I will comment as I watch your video so sorry for the long comment. This introduction has some spoilers but it's a good one. And although it's fairly new, it is already a little outdated. From my knowledge, the only ones who wrote for others are: RM(he is credited on one song of their fellow label mates Tomorrow x Together - 0x1=LOVESONG, it's a good emo pop rock song imo) plus he has some collabs with others. Suga is the one who also produced and wrote songs for many other people, some with him also featuring. You have to remember their debut was in 2013 and they constantly released albums with relatively little time inbetween them, add the collabs, RM and Suga's 2 mixtapes, J-hope's mixtape plus other songs by the other members uploaded on Soundcloud. They have aprox 300 songs! So the credits are impressive but considering this, they are realistic. They are just very prolific lol, especially the rapline. I mean, their album Map of the Soul: 7 has 19 songs (plus a remix we don't really like to talk about hehe) I know many people recommend Chicken Noodle Soup because it's J-Hope's most famous solo song. It's a really good song to see how different his style is from the other two rappers, plus the original song hold a special place in his heart as a dancer. But I personally recommend also checking out his other two solo MVs from his mixtape: Airplane and Daydream. That fox from Jin's solo song Moon is a reference to the Little Prince, it's not just a freaky mask :) That song by V is called Winter Bear. I has a video on their BANGTANTV channel. It's a really calming song. JK is an impressive individual but he has said his nickname Golden Maknae is sometimes pressuring for him. And the fact that he is good as so many things often leads to people overlooking how much of a hardworking person he is. Ida S's channel is dedicated to JK and has some videos showcasing his talents: "Jungkook's amazing talents" I think shows some of his art. Also "Jungkook the main vocalist of BTS" shows what his roles in the band mean."Why Jungkook is your bias" is also good. All the members have amazing talents and the fact that they are very hardworking and humble plays a huge role in why they are so loved by many. I am telling you, you will absolutely love the Rise of Bangtan series which I am sure has been recommended already. It will open your eyes even more :) it is also so well made and if you pay attention it answers many questions you may have. A little tip: also pay attention to the lyrics of the songs that are played if you start the series, because they oftentimes are related to the story portrayed.

I have enjoyed all the introductions as they all give slightly different information but Taylor’s is the most up to date and complete. Would love to see you react to it. 💜

RM Suga and J Hope, are all in the Top 10 of most credited Idols of all time, Namjoon is on his way to be number one, and he is not even 30. Fun fact J Hope is the most successful and most followed male Solo Artist out of South Korea on Spotify, he is the only one that Charted in the US with his Solo work, and he broke western Artist Records with it, even tho J Hope released for Free on SoundCloud. His Mixtape is a mix out of 80s Hip Hop, Funk and Lofi since his love for Hip Hop started with dancing. His Dad is a literature Teacher, so his Songs and Music videos have a lot of Book references.

So, for whatever reason my lengthy updated comment is not saved and after many Ctrl+c Ctrl+v.. now it's not even in the clipboard. UPDATED CREDITS: RM 188, 3rd most credited (2nd is Psy with 192 and 10 more years in the industry). SUGA 137 JHOPE 119 Yes, they write for BTS and themselves (their solo projects). RM has collaborated with many artists and he's featured, and he always writes his parts. So far he has written for juniors TXT (part of 0x1 LOVESONG). SUGA is the one with most credits as "external" producer, but those aren't that much. Still 90% of his credits are BTS or him. BTS has around 323 songs as of today :) (Korean, Japanese and English)
