Underdeveloped seeds that are contained within the tree’s central glowing stem are heavily sought after by the planet’s flying herbivores. Because of the seeds popularity, they were over harvested and this lead to the near extinction of the the tree species. Luckily a genetic mutation in one tree arose where sharp bristles that emitted a smell that the local fauna couldn’t stand grew at the crown of the tree(dead coral). Eventually as the trees without crowns died off due to their over consumption, the trees with the genetic mutation quickly spread with little threat.

I see the wall as less of a "keeping the neighbours out" and more "keeping the biome in", y'know to stop it spreading since it's kind of invasive.

Lore Idea: what if you put some type of meteor or something in the center of your base. This could explain the random biome in the midst of everything else. Like the meteor crashed into the world and started spreading and your gigacorp base is trying to study and contain it

if you havent already i think that you should add some hidden lava pockets around the lakes so then it sounds more animated and dangerous. :)

It feels like the pitcher pods and torch flowers were MADE for your custom biome. They look so good!

I find it interesting that giga corp is launching towards a planet, building a base in the midst of a hostile landscape and then isolating that landscape along with their base. Normally you would want that hostility outside of your area. Disclaimer: I know terraforming the entire rest of the server would be hard for several reasons (including other hermits)

Would seriously love if you kept using iskall's shaders. It's close enough to vanilla that it still fits in, but everything just feels so much more immersive and inviting. Wels recently made the switch too and the audience reacted well to it

You should add some kind of scanning like sound via a skulk sensor thing at the giga bs gates so that you hear it when you walk through the gate as if it's scanning you.

Recommend spending some packed mud expanding the biome a bit outside the walls. (Especially near the doors), as if the walls are trying to contain the biome, but it seeping out at the doors / a bit along the walls. Could help transition your base into the surrounding bases

something that would be really cool for your entry doors is a custom scanning sound that plays once a player is in closer proximity. same thing with docs perimeter from last season!
