I can't believe we're actually finishing a major minigame build with Etho. They said it couldn't be done! Maybe we'll even get a roof on his house this season!

31:12 whenever etho says "taxes", I can't help but think of his nexus spirit. I imagine taxes still getting in the way when he's trying to build.

etho really said let me go in and forsake all that redstone encoding and decoding to make the 7 segment display legible and easy to work with. i'll be making mine with blood, sweat, more blood and tears. i wasn't expecting that cut to a fully functional spam proof redstone logic based 7 segment display lmao much less it being tileable!!! mr slab never dissapoints.

Messing with Scar at the end was priceless. This episode was such a great mix of fun redstone, games and shenanigans

I was already so blown away by the trident farm, but then we got to the display and I swear I was just in awe the whole time. You keep making this game better, which is insane for how long Minecraft has been out. Thank you for everything you do, Etho! Very excited to see Frogger come to life!

Love that etho shouts out the small channel geniuses who are the true forefront of redstone engineering. Not that etho isn’t, but the focus is different in the video vs straight redstone videos lol.

Hey Etho. I'm 40 years old, and I've been subscribed to you for at LEAST 10 years - probably longer. I've watched every video you've posted since I subscribed. Two days ago, I showed my 11 and 12 year old daughters their first Ethoslab videos - we watched a bit of Foolcraft together. You're truly a multigenerational YouTuber!

That bit with scar at the end was GENIUS, and the luck of bdubs actually taking damage there too, wild

i recommend covering the 7 segment displays in tinted glass to make them easier to read. When you darken the display the off segments disappear but without it they are still there and visually noisy so it makes it harder for your brain to quickly decode the number. i.e it always looks like 8 to your brain until it can process which are on or off and decipher the real number. Stained glass kind of works for this but its not dark enough to get the effect. This is a problem that actually also exists in real life which is why seven segment displays often have a black transparent layer on top to make them legible.
