David Robinson is the reason I am not only a Spurs fan, but a fan of the NBA at all.

The Admiral was an amazing player. I think a lot of people forget how important he was to the 1999 Spurs.

David Robinson even served in the United States Navy when he was young. It is truly amazing that after completing his two years of compulsory military service and retiring from the military as a lieutenant in the Navy, he later became a superstar player in the NBA.

DRob has an incredible resumé, scoring title, quadruple double, the 71 pts game, reg season MVP, 1992 Original Dream Team Barcelona, defensive player of the year, he was a freak of nature!!

If you grew up in the '80s & '90s & played streetball or watched 🏀 you really appreciate this channel 💯👍👌😎

I never knew he was underrated, he's a Mythical creature. Offense/Defense is what he did and a 7'1 who moves like a guard.

To me David Robinson has always been one of the greats. I was wondering why he wasn't really talked about. I was like "Is it me? Did I imagine he was that amazing of a player?". Great video. Thanks for this tribute to #50, the Admiral !

NBA Superstars 2 - Meet me in the middle on vhs watched it so many times. Robinson, Olajuwon, and Ewing were the definitive big 3 during my childhood.

Absolute legend. Robinsons neighbourhood. Very underrareted especially offensively. Scoring 71 in the 90s is unbelievable. Getting a quadruple double ! In the days when triple doubles were hard to come by. The way he took a back seat for Duncan is testament to his greatness.

I think Robinson had a 35-16 win record over Olajuwon which is crazy. People just remember the one playoff series where Olajuwon beat Robinson

If you wanted to make a nice guy team you would put Robinson at center, Grant Hill at small forward, Clyde Drexler at shooting guard, Magic at point guard and Dirk at power forward. They would beat you in the game and apologize to you for doing it. 😂

More people should talk this guy. We all love the Spurs legends of the past 20 years and look how those guys revere the Admiral.

Robinson was truly one of the greatest centers I’ve had the privilege of watching back in the day and a man of character!

David Robinson is one of my top 5 all time favorite NBA basketball players and I must say that my most favorite team he played for was the Dream Team coz 4 of my 5 all time players were on that team! I almost became a spurs fan coz of him. I truly feel that he doesn’t get enough recognition for being one of top 5 all time best centers!
