  • Love this. I started on Carnivore 30 days ago at 52. Down 20+lbs and feel great. Had absolutely no gas after the 2nd week. I told a buddy I hadn't farted in two weeks - and he recommended fiber. I told him there was no constipation - and I'm sending him this video. Power to the people! :-) Thanks for all the great material doc!
  • Dr. Paul Mason I enjoy the gentle way you communicate and deliver the inspiring information. You're a great conversationalist

Every kid and adult that dislikes veggies will be quoting Dr. Mason.

Dr. Paul Mason's presentation was not only entertaining and informative, it exemplifies something that all scientific minded people should be willing to do - slaughter sacred cows when those sacred cows are lacking evidence. Dr. Mason does just that with the much touted benefits of fiber, which has been an enduring sacred cow within nutrition circles for decades. Thank you for uploading this presentation, because it made me rethink my ideas about fiber. That is what good science should do.

Paul Mason has done a spectacular job of analyzing and disproving existing paradigms!!!!
  • I gave up fibre/fiber 4 years ago. My digestion is the best it has ever been. Great video. Keep up the great work.
  • Mostly a carnivore, I kept adding veggies and some fruit in response to the continuous admonitions on Youtube from 'informed' sources that neglecting to do so meant cutting years off your life. Inspite of stomach aches at night with carbs, I couldn't get clarity. Along comes the brilliant master logician, Dr. Mason, and the conflict is gone. (along with the carbs) When brilliance, integrity and lightheartedness come together, genuine good is the happy result. Spiritually uplifting, definitive, cutting edge info. My gratitude!
  • Your comments fall into line with my Keto experience. I’m into month 2 and @61 I’ve lost 7.6kgs & now feel 30 years of age again. You wouldn’t know I have 2 arthritic knees that were due to be replaced (not anymore, for now anyway), I wouldn’t know I have bad feet (Plantar fasciitis), no bloat, no flatulence, crape skin is gone, dermatitis is gone, cravings for carbs or sugar is gone, lethargy is gone, sleep 30% less than I used to, wake up totally refreshed & alert, body is stronger, smarter (at least I feel that way), the list goes on.... Thing is my 91 year old mum is on it too, hasn’t helped her bad knee as it’s just too far gone, nor has it helped her hearing! But, she is saying she feels terrific & her rings now keep falling off her fingers as she has lost a few kgs. As with most (if not all) who do the Keto diet I thought I couldn’t live without my carbs (pasta, rice, bread, cereal, potatoes), my fresh fruit (pawpaw, mango, mangosteen, lychee), my veggies & salads? But guess what when in ketosis your brain tells your body, “You don’t need that shit, you’ve got plenty of body fat to convert to ketones & it I starts running short eat more meat & fats. Wow, that’s bazaar for me to just say that. Doing my 2nd set of full bloods in another 3 weeks to compare those I took beforehand which were sensational. Keep you posted!

I've been on meds for severe constipation for over a decade. I used to take a massive amount of laxitives once a week to "clean out". My wife said you need more fiber. I obliged and increased my fiber to 50-60 grams a day. It did not help with the constipation but it did give me incredible amount of gas. fast forward years later, I started keto eating very little fiber and no more constipation for months. After about 5 months my body adapted and now I just need a little help occasionally. I've found a tbsp or two a day of EVOO aliviates everything.

I watch a large number of these types of videos and this has to be the best presentation I've ever seen. A must watch.
  • I cannot get enough of Dr Mason. I really want to meet him and hear him in-person. I have learned hell lot from him on Youtube and Twitter already and feel like I know better than usual docs. If at all I am in Sydney, that will be one of my to-do list :)

Arguably the most revolutionary, earth-shattering talk available on YouTube right now. Frankly I'm surprised it hasn't been banned!

I’ve enjoyed all of Dr. Mason‘s videos, but this one is paradigm shifting.
  • This video changed my LIFE! I've been on and off Keto and Carnivore for 4 years with great success, however, I've also suffered from debilitating medical issues and emotional overeating and too much wine. After my hernia surgery 3 years ago, suffering from horrible bloating and gas and thought it was from dairy. Fast forward to 2023 and back on track, quit drinking, lowered carb intake again, but didn't help gas and bloating. Watched this video in preparation to go back on Carnivore, but not motivated enough, until I saw this. Spent a week researching everything(again) and because my PC is of 0 help...so had to research Metabolic Syndrome, Insulin Resistance, Hypothyroidism, etc. and now I feel more confident to be disciplined and stick to it, especially since I discovered I'm Fructans Intolerant. Thank you, Dr. Mason!
  • So many people bring a lot of good stuff on line but this guy is way of the chart super good!!!!
  • @Sungodv
God bless you, Dr Mason...you and so many others have given me back my physical health this past year!
  • @Ildy04
Thank you. After poo poohing keto for years, I embraced it earlier this year out of desperation to lose weight V v happy. Slow but steady loss, not hungry at all, easy to manage meals at home and when eating out. The surprise was my digestion. After struggling for most of my life with bloating gas, constipation, you name it, I have no issues. Amazing. I've watched a lot of your videos. Thank you for your research and your presentations. V much appreciate it.

Great information! I had been on a ketogenic diet (and Intermittent fasting) by which I reversed my insulin issues, lowered inflammation markers, improved all lipid markers, improved hormones, especially thryroid (lowered daily dose) and lost 43 pounds in 9 months. But I was left with extremely bothersome IBS symptoms that didn't get better while all the other things were improving. Just recently, five weeks ago, I decided to try the carnivore diet: no plants in the diet at all. In this short amount of time, and having gone through the expected adjustment period, I am thrilled to share that I am not in the bathroom with watery diarrhea anymore after my meals! It used to be that when I ate salads with so-called salad greens, and lots fiber (to feed the microbiome) and my protein and fatty dressing, I prepared myself for several hours of agony and torture, as the watery diarrhea could last several hours even at times overnight till next morning :( But now, I have all animal products, including hard cheeses, butter and cream, eggs, and meats and have no issues at all. I have bowel movements everyday without any problems. At this point, I see no point in adding plants to my diet, as it is a matter of personal preference and I am preferring to stay not bloated, not to have watery diarrhea, no headaches from weakness, no skin rashes and no inflammation.
