The second OP pays homage to different animation techniques. The carousel-like thing at the beginning and end is a 3D zoetrope, a structure that, when hit with a strobing light, creates the illusion of motion. The first ED is a technique called paint on glass, an incredibly difficult and time-consuming animation style that they throw into the show here and there, wherein paint is literally smeared onto glass and shot in stop-motion. It's a great show, and very well-animated. I'd definitely recommend giving it a watch.

Fun fact, the scene in the second opening where they are fighting in a red/orange city is footage of an actual city shot by a drone, which they put many filters over and then animated the characters in after all of that

8:35 this shows how important main character to him. World is filled with colors when he is with him. Also the ending was made with drawings on sand. This is all handmade.

I love your reactions lol. This show means a lot to me and it’s definitely worth watching. The Broccoli and the Flower are forshadows are to what big arcs are coming in the next season. Both symbols of growth and renewal.

10:05 openings and this ending have a lot of references to the events in the original even if it is not in this season. Like brocolly is related to the end of the second season, flower in the second ending is related to the end of the original.

The flower is a reference to the manga which will be explained in season 3

Ending 1 slaps though

The openings visually have almost nothing to do with anime. It's a bit like taking all the characters, a few events, and all the elements from both seasons and blending them together in a huge blender. The only thing that is specific is the countdown. And that's not 100 seconds, but 100 percent.

2:23 They did count to 100, but because that's the TV edit (the version of the song that gets cut down to be aired as an opening theme song), they cut out a bunch of counting. If you listen closely you can hear that the song switches in the middle from 40 to 81. (And yes when they say 30 it sounds a bit like 70, but they are saying 30.) The full song has them count to 100 all the way through, in basically 4 minutes.
