  • This video is pure gold. I have been studying English for nearly 40 years, and no teachers explained to me how to use to or for properly to make sentences using them correctly... I had to learn it on my own by listening to the people when I kept conversations... Thanks a lot!
  • @bektashmuhaj7065
Thank you so much for explaining these propositions("to" and "for")in detail and in a professional manner! As always, outstanding teacher !👏
  • @Impezzo

I primarily used to suffer the correct using of articles. After huge effort and practices, I have made significant improvement now. Prepositions are also made me unprofessional on my academic work. And your videos can help me to avoid those confusions. Your presentation is clean and pretty much on target. Keep up the good work as we are benefiting a lot.
  • Thank you for making this lesson, emma and finally i can understand how to use TO and FOR.
  • @josamessias
Thank you so much for helping us to improve each day, I really love your classes. I'm an Englih teacher from Brazil, and it's not easy to learn when we're not in contact with the language everyday.

To: 1. destination 2. time between two points 3. preference 4. limit/endpoint. This is such a magnificent lesson.
  • Thanks Emma. The video is very useful for the simple reason that I find it very challenging to discuss prepositions with my students. I find it hard to figure out where I should start and what things i should cover. Could you give an example for "apply to someone"?
  • I want to thank you for this lesson to give a better understanding of these common prepositions.... And as I understood this all is very easy and cool to use in our daily communication 👍
  • @pradipdalal9589

Hello Emma, my name is Wang. I have watched your teaching YouTube. I found your teaching very clear, concise and helpful. I love it. Thank you.
  • @michakj4994
This is an excellent lesson. Teaching and learning prepositions is not easy. To feel the difference of the use of FOR and TO it is necessary to think in English. Your reasoning on those two little words is a perfect presentation. Thank you Professor Emma. You say " I am a coach for English speech". But I prefer to title you Professor Emma.
  • Usage of To: 1.) Direction/Destination 2.) Time/Time between two points 3.) Preference 4.) Limit/Endpoint ♥️
  • @djkorpora
thank you very much Emma you are really very kind with all my respect, greetings from Portugal
