We've filmed the 2024 Tesla Model 3 refresh (codename "Highland") a few times to test real world range, efficiency, charging cost and charging speed but after covering 1,000 miles in 1 week now is the time to give you my full in-depth and very considered and qualified review in more depth, share my opinions on what is good and what I do not like as well.

Lots of people will be keen to hear how I have been getting on without parking sensors or stalks for example. Probably the most commonly asked questions about this car. Well I'll tell you what I think....

I can also share my efficiency since owned, not just what we get on a longer road trip like we've released so far.

Overall there is very little to dislike and a lot to love. It's a brilliant car and the added refinement is very welcome.

Brilliant! Well done for mentioning the tailgate opening, haven't seen other reviews pay this any mind. Just goes to show how detailed your reviews are! Good work!

The deactivation of ISA chime in Model 3 is one of the simplest and best solutions in the industry. Like you said, it's just one touch of the speed limit icon. Unlike other approaches, it does not require diving into the menu every time you start a drive to turn it off. Thank you for a great review!

I have had mine for about 2 weeks and 100% agree with your review. Great review! Congrats on great channel content

I agree completely with the Tesla general comments. I have a model y and I will never go back to ice. Great review!

I test drove the highland today. Made my MY seem noisy and much less refined. Very impressed. I’d happily have a new one! Cooled seats are a nice feature. Button indicators took 15 mins to get used to.

Great review Richard. You’re just giving your views and impressions which is exactly what I came here for. Love my 23 MY inc the parking assist and look forward to the upgrade next year.

Took delivery a couple of days ago. Agree with you. Been eyeing the car for panel gaps and paint faults but nothing!!

Looks a nice upgrade. Thank you Richard for the videos. Best regards Martin
  • Awesome review. You sound like me every day time I drive my Model Y LR, just in awe of how much better it is than any other vehicle I've ever driven. Fricken love this car. Cheers from the US.

I think the speed limit chime is EU/UK law on all 2024 model cars.

Richard, I value your opinion as it’s sensible and true! I’ve watched many reviews and they either say it’s wonderful or pitiful. As an owner of a 23 MYP I know it’s not perfect and very far from pitiful either. Thank you for spreading the truth on EV’s…wish you all the luck in the world on growing your channel!

Totally agree with your comment on the door handles needing illumination. I can't believe that they missed that in the refresh to-do list. It won't stop me upgrading my m3LR when the time comes though.
  • Thanks for the videos Richard, they kept me going til today when my standard range highland in ultra red arrived! My first Tesla so far so good.
  • @Arpedk
Argh, not fair you are so positive... I need reasons not to buy this amazing vehicle!
  • @KLm912
    Yes, another episode!!

Thank you for your review. I went on a test drive last week and this car is gorgeous!! Quieter and more comfortable than previous model. When performance variant becomes available to order in United States I'm buying it!! Stealth Grey black interior. First EV, super stoked 🎉🎉

ELON MUSK are you listening to this man. There's "just" the 80,000 followers, but many many more who are appreciative of a truly honest review of your products and your greater aspiration to convert the public at large to electric transportation. That was yet another great video Richard, it was you personally who sold me on getting a Tesla and there's been no reason to change that.

2:10 It is a new regulation, and part of it is that you shouldn’t be able to turn it off permanently. It must turn on again every time you start a new trip.
