in my opinion, i would put connie into S tier for being their for steven during the entire show and future. The whole speech she gives about steven putting others first and how its their turn to help steven and not whine while steven is having a mental breakdown, is so moving and shows she truly cares about steven and his mental health (best couple). EDIT: yall please stop talking about the time when she left and took lion (if you wanna hear my opinion on that read the thread) but I’m tired of people being really aggressive to me

Man you did Aquamarine so dirty, she was so cool because she was literally one of the only singular instances where Steven was unable to break through to somebody. She was clearly set up to represent the majority of bad people who are evil for their own pleasure and/or benefit instead of being motivated by some tragic backstory or end goal. Plus her wand was really fun to watch in action

I 100% agree with Steven being the best character in the show, the amount he grows and changes is absolutely incredible. I’m so glad we get to see him go from some annoying child to one of the most mature characters in the show. He’s underrated, and I love him

14:31 I’m pretty sure there actually was gonna be an episode about Rhodonite’s past in Future! I may not remember everything correctly, but I think the just of it was that Homeworld had made a device that could see how many “past lives” a gem has had, or how many times their memory had been wiped. (Think of spinel’s scythe and how it wiped memories). Rhodonite tested it out and somehow had a super high number, like 17 or something, meaning her memory had been wiped a bunch of times. And then their past as a ruby and a pearl would be revealed. Their story was basically the ruby and pearl found each other and fell in love, but of course were factory reset. But they kept finding each other AGAIN after that, and each time they ended up falling in love in different ways, then getting wiped. It’s like they were meant to be together and form Rhodonite.

BLUE ZIRCON MENTION LETS GOOOOOOO!!! The Trial was one of my FAVORITE episodes growing up, n I absolutely adored Blue Zircon from the moment she appeared on screen. Another great upload Jord!!

Imo, I would put Jasper in A tier. I completely understand feeling like she didn't change much, but I saw her in future as a representation that not everything can be fixed. Steven makes a difference on all the gems, but Jasper is so stuck in her ways she can't be changed. Great video!

Im also all for Lars been S tier. It's funny, but when a Steven Universe writer held a conference in my country, a guy, instead of standing up and asking a useful question, asked why the show can't get rid of Ronaldo, he was super angry about it, and the writter answer that exactly, to be clear he started saying he liked Ronaldo, but also said that some fans may feel unconfortable about Ronaldo because in a way may be a projection of themselfs , at that point it felt like yes, the dude was Ronaldo xD.

Garnet is easily my favorite character in the show. She’s hilarious, has great songs and over time becomes the true mom of the Crystal Gems. It’s great to see!
