Thanks for the video. The reason for the belt wearing out is the belt being rubbed against where the belt is being height adjusted, happened to me as well.

This video helped me tremendously with my 04 XC70 seat belt replacement. I had to tweak the tutorial some but it is easy enough to adapt it to work for my car.

Thanks for the video, it will help me to do the same on my C30. Your car is really clean for a 2003.

Do you by chance have a video or suggestions on how to access this mechanism for the passenger seats in the back? The little plastic button broke, and both sides retracted and locked fully on my 2002 V70. I can't find any videos or tutorials on how to remove the seat back.

What did you have to do to unplug the electrical connection to the pre-tensioner? Mine appears to be stuck, and I didn't want to force it for fear of breaking something. Should it just pull straight out?
  • Did you un-plug the battery before all this action? No SRS errors after ?
  • @zenoelea8239
Ok, the only bit I was interested in was how the electrical connection was removed. 🙄🙄

Is the passenger side seat belt to same as the driver side seat belt?
