I love how konosuba was supposed to be a mockery of the isekai genre. But instead become one of the best isekai’s ever made
-
The hidden part i find endearing about the writing in Konosuba is how Aqua is the root of every problems in the story
-
The reason he’s such a unique character is that his hair is brown rather than black.
-
The episode when Vanir possessed Darkness was absolutely hysterical! The timing of their back and forth was pure brilliance.
-
“Aqua is good at stuff just not combat.” Conclusion: Aqua is a bard
-
Don't forget that they managed all this even though ALL the budget went into kazuma's finger movements
-
What made me tear up a bit was that kazuma's parents laughing their ass of towards kazuma's death was said as an act for them to cope with their child's death....or that they're just seriously laughing he died in a stupid way.
-
Darkness' deserves SO much more than she gets. She's by far the most mature. She tries so hard, and gets almost nothing for it. She's WAY too overlooked as a character.
-
that one part from the movie where aqua pulled up his pants without anyone telling her to and the part where he gets traumatized from the female orcs both times she didn't laugh at him but instead deiced to help him look like less of a fool with his pants down and actually comforting him when he got traumatized is another one of those moments where instead of reminding us that she's the dumb useless character we see that she also cares a lot about him than making fun of him and laughing at him. it also shows that she can actually be really mature when the situation calls for it
-
He ACTUALLY drop kicked a woman in the LN. I laughed way too hard at that scene.
-
Aqua has a real canonical reason why she never gets smarter: as a goddess, her INT level was maxed out, meaning no matter how long she grinds levels, she can never raise her INT, so no matter how much experience she gains, she literally can't learn from them.
-
“This feels real because this is how friends in real life interact.” YES. That’s why this show is so great to me. It’s incredibly self-aware and the way the characters act is much like how you’d expect real people to act if they got sent to a different world.

My absolute favorite thing about kazuma's voice actor is that he was a relative nobody in the JN voice acting scene. His most popular roles up till that point was Steph's dad from NGNL and the MC from Kotoura-san. In spite of this he whipped out all this talent and skill from absolutely nowhere and blew everyone away.
-
The first 5 minutes really cements Kazuma’s character for me. He is constantly ripped on for being a selfish, cowardly asshole but the entire reason he is there is because he gave his life to save a random person. At his core Kazuma an heroic person that puts the lives of other people above his own.
-
I love how when someone calls Kazuma’s name out, he just says “Yes, yes. I’m Kazuma.”
-
I really enjoy the color scheme between all of the main characters like it's easy to distinguish between them all: Megunin - Red/Brown Darkness - Yellow/white Aqua - Blue Kazuma - Green Wiz - Purple (though she's not part of the main group)
-
in kazuma's defense he did stay awake for four days before he tried to save the girl from truck-kun. anyone would be hallucinating after being awake for 96+ hours.
-
Another reason megumin is best girl: Rie Takahashi.
-
I love Darkness as a character. Yes, she has obvious flaws, but she’s courageous through and through.
