I put higher voltage on more toys primarily using a 0-30V bench power supply. But some toys required even more voltage to die! I used a Variac with a full bridge rectifier (input 230V) when I needed more than 30V.
Enjoy some high voltage toys!

Some parts may be a little confusing, this was supposed to be a part of a longer story video, but I decided to not upload that after lots of work. I started to doubt that youtube would approve of what I made without restrictions... Anyway, here is what's left of it. Not what I had in mind, but it's time to move on. P14 is already done and coming very soon.

I love how the parrot lost every time to the unicorn, but survived more in the 330v

In the first toy the sound chip worked for a short time when power was reconnected, overheated then stopped working. Funny how you could disconnect the power so the chip cooled so it could play again but it was definitely destroyed at 10v. Variac pops are always funny. RIP Elmo.
