kpfc is a gem of an airport, there is food and pies and coffee and beach within about a 2 minute walk. it's an 1860ft runway but feels a lot larger, maybe because there are no major obstacles, though there is a fun displaced threshold on this one approach.

the terrain of the oregon coast makes each airport incredibly valuable, as driving is on twisting mountain roads, so they are slow- and occasionally blocked by landslides in the winter.

this might be an accidental howto video. you're welcome? sorry?

Smooth as usual. Full flaps and speed control was impressive.

Gorgeous. Thought that was some kind of carcass on the runway at the end! 😮
  • That is fantastic, the scenery is sooo good. I have been there on land, now I want to try it in the air. Good stuff!

Nice little field to drop in on! I heard 2 altitude call-outs, did you program those and, if so, what altitudes were they calling-out?
