At least the Russian military is capable of capturing and holding large, desolate ice sheets...at least that's something, right?

I heard that Russian special forces were able to hold off a walrus counter offensive. They only abandoned a few pieces of artillery in their efforts, and they blamed western backed seals for those losses. The threat of nuclear weapons being used by Putin and the nuclear winter that would result didn't seem to phase the brave marine mammals

Russian Military is extremely powerful everywhere where don't have to fight against anyone

' which they say is capable of detecting stealth jets'... let's remind everyone that Ukraine built Neptune missiles in the last few years which sunk the Moscova, which had Russias best air defense systems on it. Also to remember that Ukraine has been able to blow up military targets inside of Russia, very close to Moscow.

So Russia having to move jets and equipment from Moscow up to the Arctic to keep Ukraine from destroying it further. Makes sense.

Imagine living in 21st century and still needing a war.
  • That ice is like the Amazon canopy, lots of answer are under it.

Russia's glorious air defense cant even see Ukrainian homebrew cruise missiles hitting their air bases some 500km behind the frontline and inside Russia.

Reminds me of the USSR bases expansion.... Only today we can find those same bases on Discovery or National Geographic channel in stories titled "Abandoned...." and such. I see no evidence to believe this time won't be any different. Empires don't last, they only crumble

Instead of the war machine Russia should spend its resources on improving the well-being of the country.

Zelensky visiting the front line while Putin cowers in his bunker is a stark contrast in leadership style.
