Brigette has been my best friend for 30 years and I can tell you all that she is as lovely, creative and adorable IRL as this video portrays. I seriously am so thrilled by how accurate this is. Her apartment feels like an immersion into safety, a painting, and chic comfort. I am so proud of her, and I am so happy to see such kind and wonderful comments. Love you so much my Brig. I am blown away by you.

Love her reasoning for spending money on her space even as a renter. Your home is your safe haven from the craziness of the world! I would totally do the same in her shoes and I LOVE her space so much! It's very much HER!! ❤

Your mother would be incredibly proud of you. It’s a stunning place.❤
  • I don’t know what I love more… her, the apartment, or the cat for not knocking over all of her beautiful things. This is by far my favorite Apartment Therapy episode! Great job girl 🥰

For a rent controlled apartment in Brooklyn it's a great idea to spend & invest in pieces you love. Most NY'ers live in rent controlled apartments for YEARS!!!

I’m speechless. It’s not even my style and I could just sit in that apartment all day and just look. It’s absolutely perfect.
  • I have rented my entire life by choice. I'm in my mid 70's and feel as Brigette does. I didn't want the responsibility of owning so doing upgrades and renovations on my apartment was a no brainer. Everyone always comments on how beautiful my space is in one breath and then feels it's foolish to spend my money on the landlord's property in the next. I've ignored them all and loved pretty much all the spaces I've lived in. Do what makes you happy and to heck with the nay-sayers. Your home is absolutely gorgeous Brigette.

What a beautiful space and such a lovely host. I love her cat reclining on the lounge like an Ancient Roman 😻

This apartment is adorable. It has so much character... with many pretty French accents and personal storied features. I agree with the concept of spending a little money on doing up a rental place to make it more you. I really enjoyed this home and her sweet cat Ollie too.

This feels like stepping into another world. I have never seen an apartment tour where the space was so loved, so cohesive, so on-topic, so otherworldly. This is absolutely gorgeous, well done.

I love my mother's mirror. There's something magical about knowing her face looked back at her from the same mirror I'm using! What a lovely home!!

This is the best 14 minutes and 7 seconds I have ever spent on YouTube.... Brigette is simply charming and this space is a lovely work of art. 💚

Beautiful home. I particularly love her textiles. I wonder what she does for a living? Her cat laying on the chaise like a boss is funny.
  • @munchkin0518
Yes, everyone deserves to love the space they're in, but something to be mindful of is that when people say, "Why decorate a rental?" it's not because they don't want to have a beautiful temporary space. They just can't afford to. An insane amount of money went into the decor of this lovely apartment, and that's not something most working class folks can dish out every time they move into a new rental.

This is my favorite Apartment Therapy of all time. And I adore her cat.
  • @deealex1402
one of the prettiest apartments. very cosy and gives me a paris vibes, im not into very stuffed apartments like this, but hers is made tastefully. love all the rustic mirrors and paintings. gorgeous.

Shabby chic meets old world European. The atmosphere she created takes you to a different place and time. It's like walking into one of the vintage paintings she owns. My aesthetic is very similar to hers and it was very inspiring to see her capture it through the items she chose rather than knocking down walls. My favorite home featured on this channel so far❤
