Finally, a worthy successor to the "What I've Learned" channel

This just proves that we need to return to a traditional diet, not paleo not keto diet, a diet where they didn't eat processed foods refined sugars and seed oils, but instead eat a lot of fermented stuff to help digest grains and ate natural sugars from fruit and honey.

Consume your raw honey, raw! Do not heat it because it will lose its beneficial properties and compounds. Honey also doesn’t decompose and can last thousands of years. If your honey has an expiration date then it’s not raw honey.

Unfortunately, a lot of the honey on the market today is counterfeit, or, at least, diluted with corn syrup.

Underrated channel Derek reference convinced me 101%

You ever watched That Sugar Film? The dude eats the same amount of calories in added sugar compared to his previous diet; he gains a significant amount fat in the abdominal area, thus counting as overweight. I know it’s an n=1 experiment, but when I saw that, it proved to me that sugar makes you gain weight faster than other macros.

Please make more videos. Even though i'm aware of most of the content, having these condensed resources to share is great
  • Bro I’m so glad I found your channel. High quality informative videos are my favourite. Great work you will go up🚀 However I have mixed feeling about this. My family used to have a bees back in the day and we are left with a shit ton of honey from those times. When the gyms in my country closed two months ago I started snacking on that raw honey and oh god I went from looking diced to around 15%BF. I mean it’s great that honey is healthy and I didn’t trash my metabolism with it but I sure as heal ate it like a bear which is going to hibernate in a few weeks. Even now I finished my skyr yogurt and oh boy would I love some honey. I may have developed an addiction to it. Be careful with overindulging on healthy foods.

I like the way you make videos of current issues. Keep it up!!!

So basically raw honey should be the new “sugar”, cool. Keep up the excellent work! Also: Keto + Paleo is the Ultimate Diet isint it? Maybe that can be a future video; “The overall best diets to improve as much aspects of the human body”
  • OK, I think I got it figured out. I (believe) I understand what metabolic syndrome is, what causes it and how to prevent it. It just hit me. Here is why I am certain is correct: Metabolic syndrome is not a disease, per se. You heard that correct. It is a natural, and normal way for animals to prepare for a famine. Like I said before, animals and humans need a way to gain weight to survive the winter, and fructose provides that way. Fructose has been proven to cause leptin resistance and cellular energy depletion. In other words, eating sugar makes you eat more and tired. It also, I believe is the reason we get metabolic syndrome as a way to prepare for a famine. What metabolic syndrome does is prioritize the body to preserve crucial body mass by lowering energy levels and provide protection for vital survival mechanisms. Fruit ripens in the fall, animals eat it, increase their appetites, lower their energy levels, eat more, gain weight and go into metabolic syndrome. This is not my idea, and as I told you before, it comes from Dr Richard Johnson's book, The Fat Switch. He explains how animals use fructose consumption to prepare for winter, migration and hibernation. In other words, fructose is nature's weight gaining chemical. It helps animals gain weight and go into starvation protection mode, which I believe is metabolic syndrome. This is why fasting works so well with people who have insulin resistance, or metabolic syndrome. The two go hand in hand. Sick people who eat a Standard American Diet get better with fasting for the same biologic reasons animals lose weight during the winter...because metabolic syndrome and famine are closely related in nature. This argument makes sense to me. It stands to reason. This is why I am convinced that fructose is the real main cause of metabolic syndrome because it is a natural, evolutionary way for animals to gain weight and prepare for starvation. This is why certain societies can eat all the carbs they want, but not suffer metabolic syndrome. It's because they are not eating fructose. It's only when you add fructose to people's diets that they start to get metabolic syndrome. I can't find any society that eats sugary foods that does not have a type II diabetes problem, and I can't find any societies that don't eat fructose at all that actually have type II diabetes. I don't see any other plausible explanation for metabolic syndrome that correlates with evolution.

This is what Youtube is for! Glad I found your channel 👌🏻 Top Video!
  • @mvd3804
I feel sorry for the bees that get their good stuff replaced with crap sugar.. but ill eat it anyways haha
  • so what happens when you eat ice cream with normal sugar and add blueberries or chocolate.. wouldn't that have antibiotic effects similar to honey ?
  • @WantedArgonianMale
You seem to promote cane sugar in other videos. I'm confused now. Whatever I will still enjoy it
  • Hey man, what do you think about white rice? Yay or nay? It's a refined food after all, but with grains, that seems to be a good thing....
  • @aaronpeters6209
I'm guessing the same goes for maple syrup and kombucha, but probably to a lesser extent.
  • @pytheas222
So interesting how raw honey is non addictive
