Just bought the UF-1 and am simultaneously baffled and agog. I hope that feeling never goes away. It is incredible 😀
  • @DavidMorley
So happy they have released this. I’ll be building it into my mixing desk so I control the DAW from the sweet spot and still access features I need when mixing. Excellent product
  • @Dane_Riazer
I’m gonna be completely honest, I wished a lot of companies did this make one awesome software and have a dedicated hardware controller. I think that would be the most amazing thing it’s like having hardware in a digital world is something about being able to feel those buttons and knobs and make changes, it just hit different!
  • Great video guys, thanks. Its even more fun when you have two UF8's, a UF1 and UC1 as there is less banking and you can find a track faster by hitting the select button on a track you want to go to.
  • @Harrysound
I use all 3 with Cubase, got lots of nice macros programmed in for the Uf8, might do a video on it.
  • @avetisk
It would have been bonkers if they worked on a better integration. But I have to admitted that even with the little done for the UF8 integration with Ableton Live, it’s still a huge plus for me. I can control every plugins params and most aspects of my tracks. There are just few things to make it really the best controller like allowing to use the “dead buttons” to be remapped. Or at last added the actual features like mapping all the automation buttons to Live automation features.

is it me or is there a lag in display time on the meter readings and phase scope? Is there a way to speed up the resolution?
  • @jerrylmusic
I love this 3 units and I have purchased them all. Why are the visual feedback of EQ curves are only displaying if you are using Protools?
  • @DurararaX2
I cut my studio teeth on a Harrison console (and 2" MCI) so this appeals to me on many levels. I may order one soon from Andertons :)
  • @the_JTowny
    A grand + for 8 midi faders. I'm out.
  • @ShoggyTechTv
Isn't technology interesting. When computers were introduced into music production decades ago, we were told how we no longer needed mixing consoles and how we could now do everything inside the computer with unlimited tracks and virtual mixers. Today we're using DAW Controllers, Plugin Controllers etc to bring back the physical faders, knobs and buttons again. Having said that, i do love the SSL 360 concept and have already bought the UF1 and UC1. Not sure i really need the UF8 as i never use multiple faders at the same time but it's great eye candy though 😆
  • So i got rid of my ssl controllers because I simply didn’t have any space. Now the UF1 is out i at least have some controls. already on order!
  • A little ironic that I am watching this tutorial hosted by Andertons. I tried to buy all 3 units from them but they wouldn't price match because one of them was out of stock for a few days!
  • @chemistry3934
Really keen to know if anyone has tried this out with Cakewalk / Sonar? Sonar does run Mackie MCU but I appreciate this DAW not officially supported by SSL. Would I be wasting my time buying a UF1? Thanks
  • @clivechandler8817
This is all too much for my little brain to understand, but I'll give it a like anyway.
