If you need to put a denoiser to your render, only open blender, go to composite, add a denoising effect and its prepared! Before be sure you have rendered your image to begin work !!

Id would be great if it had a filter for fireflies aswell. Fstorm is vert prone to them specially in metals.

I'm very happy with VRay and Corona, but at some point I'll take a closer look at FStorm. By the way, I liked your old green screen background. 😊

it's still based on blur not neyral network... Why dont they just integrate intel denoiser. Don't understand what was problem. it's free and results are amazing relatively to blur-based denoisers. Fstorm is really interesting renderer, it could become the best of all ! if developer solve some childhood diseases, like proper denoiser and at least some procedural textures support, if not, at least osl support, like vray and redshift.
  • Unfortunately, there is still a lot missing in fstorm compared to Corona and vray.. and it's not just that many similar tools in the same corona/vray have broader functionality. And the fact is that in fstorm there is not at least a normal vfb where it was possible to save and compare the history of renders. there is no composite map and layered mtl... I'm not saying yet that many maps and materials in fstorm look stripped down in functionality, but probably this is not the most important thing, but what I wrote before. it is extremely inconvenient to work without such functions😢
