The fastest growing group of homeless is the very elderly. Their /social /security checks didn't keep pace with inflation so they cannot afford rents anywhere. Didn't FDR promise we'd never see homeless old people on our streets again?

I don't understand why people that are homeless are such mess makers..I mean, I have been homeless but neat and tidy. Just cause one is poor, doesn't mean they have to be a frickin' slob

In their situation they don't want to be approached by anyone pointing a camera at them.

The people living there are literally homesteading free of taxes. Being dirt poor forces people to survive they are doing better than the ones sleeping under a bridge or in a tent....... I fear one day rich people will want the land and the local government will kick them out.
